摘要： A novel process is disclosed for preparing a 3-substituted methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The process comprises reacting a 3-acetoxymethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof with a specific compound, such as a boric acid ester, an orthoester or an acetal, in the presence of at least one specific catalyst selected from the group consisting of Lewis acids or complexes thereof, proton acids and mixtures thereof. In the process, formation of impurities, such as a lactone, is sufficiently suppressed without protection of the carboxylic acid, so that the high purity desired product, i.e., a 3-substituted-methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is useful as an intermediate for various cephalosporin antibiotics having excellent antimicrobial activity, can be prepared in one step in high yield.

摘要： A sheet separation device to open a two-ply sheet includes a rotator; a nipping member disposed opposite the rotator and configured to nip the two-ply sheet with the rotator; a conveyor configured to convey the two-ply sheet between the rotator and the nipping member, and a winding member disposed adjacent to the rotator. The conveyor conveys the two-ply sheet with a bonded portion of the two-ply sheet being an upstream end or a downstream end of the two-ply sheet in a conveyance direction of the two-ply sheet. The winding member winds the two-ply sheet around the rotator, to create a difference in winding circumferential length between the two sheets and separate the two sheets.

The sheet processing device includes binding units differing from each other in maximum sheet count, the maximum sheet count being a maximum number of sheets that can be bound at a time; a sheet tray configured to hold sheets until all to-be-bound sheets are placed therein, the number of the to-be-bound sheets being a largest one of the maximum sheet counts of the binding units or smaller; and a stacked-sheet-count limiting unit situated in a thickness direction of the sheets held in the sheet tray. The stacked-sheet-count limiting unit is configured to limit the number of sheets held in the sheet tray by varying a distance from a sheet support surface of the sheet tray on which the sheets are placed, depending on one of the binding units by which the sheets held in the sheet tray are to be bound.

摘要： An image processing apparatus of the disclosure performs image processing to an extraction image as an image of an extracted linear configuration appearing in an original image. Specifically, the image processing apparatus includes a line connecting processor configured to connect fragments of the linear configuration in the extraction image due to noises or the like to generate a fragment eliminated image. The line connecting processor interpolates pixels in the extraction image in an extending direction of the linear configuration based on a direction image while obtaining the extending direction of the linear configuration in the extraction image. Accordingly, the linear configuration is expanded in its extending direction. Such operation causes natural connection of the fragments of the linear configuration in the extraction image, achieving provision of an image with higher visibility.

It is possible to avoid reception of a reactive force to the ink receiving parts at one time when rotating and attaching the tank, and to achieve stable attachment while suppressing excessive inclination of the tank at the time of attachment.
