摘要: A disc wheel for a passenger car has a plate-like rim and a plate-like disc, the disc having a hub mounting portion extending in a direction perpendicular to an axis thereof, a hat middle portion continuously extending from the hub mounting portion toward an outer side in a radial direction and an outer side in an axial direction, a hat top portion continuously extending from the hat middle portion, and a ventilation hole portion continuously extending from the hat top portion toward an inner peripheral surface of the rim and a flange portion continuously extending from the ventilation hole portion and fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the rim. In the disc wheel, the rim inner peripheral surface and the disc flange are welded. Further, the disc has ventilation holes. In the disc wheel for the passenger car, in order to reduce a weight without reducing a fatigue life in a rotational bending fatigue test, a thickness of the disc wheel is varied in a diametrical direction at at least one of the hub mounting portion, the hat middle portion, the hat top portion, the ventilation hole portion and the flange portion.

摘要: In order to prolong the durability of a disk wheel which is determined by a dynamic radial fatigue test, the disk wheel for an automobile comprising a rim and a disk which are drop portion-engaged with each other, has a construction such that it includes a plurality of humps provided on an outer peripheral surface of the disk facing the rim, the humps being formed at positions away from welded portions between the disk and the rim in such a manner as to extend with intervals in the circumferential direction, so that the outer peripheral surfaces of the hump are press-fitted against the rim.

摘要: A steering lock assembly to lock and unlock a steering shaft by use of a key. The rotation of the rotor through key manipulation is controlled by a knob provided back of the steering lock assembly with a spacing to make impossible one-hand operation. Only when the knob is depressed, control means permits the rotor to rotate from an unlock position to a lock position with the result that car accidents due to inadvertent pulling out of the key on a down-hill ride is avoided.
