The hybrid device is a single unit capable of humidifying dry environmental air, dehumidifying humid environmental air and removing particulates and contaminants from the air. The device controls the outgoing air to a relative humidity setpoint between 35-50% with negligible particulate matter content. Particulate matter is transferred to water, which may be supplied and flushed by an automatic water pumping system.

摘要: A radiant cooling system comprises an enclosure, a cooling element and a cooling device. The enclosure includes a first wall that is transmissive of infrared radiation. The cooling element is disposed in the enclosure. The cooling device is coupled to the cooling element. The cooling element provides cooling mainly by radiative exchange. The system promotes cooling by radiative exchange and significantly reduces condensation problems and is compatible with open and enclosed spaces. Thermal losses of cooling power to conductive and convective pathways are significantly reduced. The system comes in a variety of forms including flat, cylindrical and dome-like geometries.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a solar surface steering system including a solar surface; a base mount; a main body having a first rotary vane actuator configured to rotate the solar surface via a first rotating joint, and a second rotary vane actuator configured to rotate the main body of the hydraulic actuator via a second rotating joint connected to the base mount; a fluid mover operably connected to each of the first and second rotary vane actuators and configured to actuate the first and second rotary vane actuators; and a control system electrically connected to the fluid mover and configured to control operations of the fluid mover, wherein the first and second rotary vane actuators are affixed to each other and positioned such that a rotational axis of the first rotary vane actuator is orthogonal to a rotational axis of the second rotary vane actuator.

摘要: A photovoltaic system is described that improves solar energy absorption efficiency by resolving light into constituent colors using dispersive optics. The system reduces a blurring effect of a light beam while ensuring that the system's bulkiness is not increased. The photovoltaic system disperses a focused light beam into constituent colors (spectrum) and provisions for sufficient expansion of the light beam. The photovoltaic system re-focuses the dispersed light beam that results in a reduction of the beam size, while the beam is being exposed to photovoltaic cells that convert the incident light energy into electrical energy.
