摘要： A watertight connector includes male and female housings (10, 20). The male housing (10) has an engaging end surface (10A) with a mounting recess (15) in which a seal (40) is mountable. The seal (40) has sealing portions (45) to be fitted around outer surfaces of pillars (16) that surround male terminal fittings (13). A lattice-shaped array of press-in grooves (46) is provided between the sealing portions (45), and a peripheral press-in groove (47) is formed between the sealing portions (45) and the mounting recess (15). A peripheral rib (32) and a lattice-shaped array of ribs (33) project from an engaging end surface (20A) of the female housing (20). The ribs (32, 33) enter the press-in grooves (46, 47) as the housings (10, 20) are connected and come into sealing contact with the outer circumferential surfaces of the sealing portions (45).

摘要： An electrical connector has a retainer attached from the front side of a terminal fitting insertion chamber. A straightening projection, formed on the upper face of a stopping plate, that effects double-stopping, makes contact with a male terminal from a side opposite to the direction of bending thereof, and bends the male terminal member to thereby straighten it. 摘要： A cap-shaped retainer 40 has a slit 43 formed therein for insertion of a separation plate, and terminal half-insertion detectors 41 projecting towards terminal fitting insertion chambers 21a of a housing 20. The detectors 41 project individually and are insertable into the lower portions of the respective terminal fitting insertion chambers 21a. The free ends of adjacent detectors 41 are connected to increase the strength thereof. The separation plate is insertable via the slit 43 since the half-insertion detectors 41 are connected beyond the inserted extent thereof.

摘要： On a front end surface of a male housing, a columnar sealing projection is formed for a projected portion of each of the male terminals. A sealing member having through-holes formed thereon is formed integrally with a rear surface of a front plate of a holder. When the holder is mounted on a female housing, a contact surface of the sealing member is pressed against the front end surface of the female housing. When the female housing is connected to the male housing, the inner peripheral surfaces of the through-holes of the sealing member closely contact the peripheral surfaces of the sealing projections with the sealing projections breaking the lips of the sealing member.
