Abstract:
Textile materials are rendered flame retardant by applying a phosphorus-containing condensation product, a nitrogen-phosphorus-containing condensation product and an aminoplast precondensate to the textile material, and fixing them on the textile material.
Abstract:
Process for producing a water-soluble phosphorus-containing condensation product having a molar ratio P--CH.sub.2 --P linkage/P--CH.sub.2 OCH.sub.2 --P linkage of 0.8-4.0 by heating a tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium compound under reduced pressure and acid conditions to condense it by dehydration and deformaldehydation reaction. This condensation product can be used for rendering textile articles flame retardant.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording device includes an image forming drum, a recording medium supplying section, a recording head which ejects ink onto a recording medium, a first heating unit which heats the recording medium held on the drum before image recording, a second heating unit which heats the drum downstream of the position at which the recording medium is outputted after image recording and upstream of the supplying section, a heating-unit temperature detector, a drum temperature detector, and a heating control section. The heating control section performs heat control of the first heating unit such that the temperature detected by the heating-unit temperature detector falls within a predetermined set temperature range, and performs heat control of the second heating unit such that the temperature detected by the drum temperature detector falls within a predetermined set temperature range.

A metal storage material, containing a perovskite-type composite oxide of formula (1), which is a material to stores a metal component of a metal-containing material: Formula (1) ABHaO3−b in which A is at least one selected from lanthanoid elements and Group 2 elements of the periodic table, and B is at least one selected from Groups 3, 4, and 13 elements, and transition metal elements of the fourth period of the periodic table; a and b are quantities of hydrogen and oxygen vacancies, within the range of: 0≦a≦1.0, 0≦b≦0.5, respectively; and a method of recovering a metal, containing the steps of: heating the metal-containing material, in the presence of the perovskite-type composite oxide; dissolving, in an acid, the composite oxide which stores a metal, to give an eluate of the metal; and recovering the metal, from the eluate.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition for collecting a metal component from a metal component-containing material, the composition containing a compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of lanthanoid elements and elements in group 2 of the periodic table, and a compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of elements in groups 3, 4, 12, and 13 of the periodic table and transition metal elements in the 4th period of the periodic table. The present invention further provides a method for collecting a metal component using this composition. With the use of the composition of the present invention, a metal component can be easily and efficiently collected from a material containing a highly useful metal component such as noble or rare metal.
Abstract:
A modifying process for polyester synthetic fiber products wherein said polyester synthetic fiber products are dipped into a treating liquor having an aggregation initiating temperature in the range of 65.degree. - 125.degree. C and then treated by heating them to temperatures at least 1.degree. C higher than said aggregation initiating temperature. Said treating liquor is prepared by adding to an aqueous dispersed liquid of a polyester polyether block copolymer (1) a anion-nonion or nonion surface active agent which serves to improve the high temperature stability of said block copolymer dispersed liquid, (2) an adsorption promoting or aggregation temperature adjusting agent which serves to increase the affinity of said block copolymer to the polyester synthetic fibers and improve the sorption power of said block copolymer and, if desired, (3) dyestuffs and carriers.
