    摘要: A fluid-tight slide fastener of the type in which an inner longitudinal edge portion of each of opposed tapes is folded so as to extend around base portions of successive I-shaped coupling elements and in which successive U-shaped first clamping strips surround, in clinched form, the folded edge portion over the base portion of the respective coupling element, each of opposed top stops includes an elongate plate of an I-shaped cross section corresponding to the shape of the coupling elements and having a base part surrounded by the folded edge portion of the tape, and a second clamping strip of a C-shaped cross section corresponding to the shape of the first clamping strips and surrounding, in clinched form, the folded edge portion over the base part of the elongate plate. When the slide fastener is fully closed, the opposed top stops are entirely received in the guide channel of a slider.

    摘要: The invention provides a feeding unit for a metallic linear material having an irregular shaped section applicable to a continuous manufacturing apparatus for a fastener stringer, the feeding unit comprising the seventh and eighth rollers rotatably supported at their fixed positions, the ninth and tenth rollers opposing the seventh and eighth rollers and rotatably supported at both ends of a movable roller support member, wherein the roller support member is rotatably supported around its center and urged elastically in a direction perpendicular to a straight line connecting the centers of roller shafts of the seventh and eighth rollers, thereby the feeding roller protecting the metallic linear material from easily slipping out of feeding rollers, returning the linear material to its original track immediately even if the linear material slips out for a while, and feeding the metallic linear material stably and securely without damaging the linear material or ratchet wheel.

    摘要: Improved method and apparatus for feeding a conductive wire for anodizing process of a slide fastener chain are disclosed in which a wire guide member reciprocates perpendicularly to the feeding movement of the fastener tape so that the distance between the upper end of the guide member and the lastly secured fastener element decreases as the guide member moves from a position spaced from the beaded portion of the tape to a position close to the beaded portion, thereby giving appropriate slack to the wire. The fastener elements are secured to the beaded portion of the tape when the guide member is in the position close to the beaded edge. Therefore, possibility of breaking the wire is minimized.

    摘要: A flexible container for liquid transport made of a flexible material includes a top face portion, a bottom face portion, and a peripheral face portion connecting the top face portion and the bottom face portion. An air tight, water resistant slide fastener is openably/closably mounted to the peripheral face portion of the container. A liquid stirring port is provided at the top face portion, and a liquid injecting and ejecting port are provided at a lower end of a rear face portion of the peripheral face portion. Container suspending pieces and bottom face portion fixing pieces are mounted at the top face portion of the container and at four corners of the bottom face portion. During washing, the container can be washed reliably and efficiently while the inside of the spread out container can be visually checked by efficiently utilizing the air tight, water resistant slide fastener, liquid stirring port, liquid injecting and ejecting port, and container suspending pieces, and bottom face port fixing pieces. Thus, according to the present invention, washing, sterilizing and disinfecting treatments and thereafter drying treatment by heating can be performed efficiently, with the container having higher strength, higher air tightness and water resistance.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for forming a slide-fastener coupling element from a metal wire having a substantially Y-shaped cross section wherein a blank piece is cut or sliced off from the metal wire by a co-action between a cutoff die and a cutoff punch, and substantially at the same time, the metal wire is chamfered along a next cutting line by a chamfering edge so as to form a substantially V-shaped groove extending in and along the peripheral surface of a head portion of the metal wire and the outside surface of each of two opposed leg portion of the metal wire. The next slicing operation produces a blank piece which is already chamfered at its upper and lower peripheral edges extending along the peripheral surface of the head portion and the outside surfaces of respective leg portions of the blank piece. A finished coupling element shaped from the thus chamfered blank piece is smooth to touch and ensures smooth sliding movement of a slider which will guarantee smooth opening and closing operation of a slide fastener.

    摘要: An air/water-tight slide fastener has an end stop. The end stop has a flange portion extending therearoud. At least part of the flange is extensive enough to be integrally fixed to the opening edges of an opening formed in an article. Since the flange portion is firmly clamped by and between the air/water-tight fastener tape and the opening edges of the opening of the article; when the air/water-tight slide fastener is folded on itself; the excessive bending stresses exerted directly on the air/water-tight fastener tape is relaxed or mitigated. The air/water-tight fastener tape is thus prevented from being peeled off at that position.
