A vehicular metal absorber for efficiently absorbing by a short stroke the impact energy received from legs of a pedestrian at the time of a collision between a pedestrian and an automobile, reducing the residual crush, and protecting the legs of the pedestrian, that is, a long vehicular metal absorber comprising a center flange, a top web and bottom web connected to the two sides of the center flange, a top flange connected to the top web, and a bottom flange connected to the bottom web and formed overall into a hat shaped cross-section, wherein an internal angle α1 formed by the top web with a flange plane including the top flange and bottom flange and an internal angle α2 formed by the bottom web with the flange plane are respectively over 0 degree to less than 90 degrees, and in that one or both of the top web and bottom web are provided with a recessed or projecting bead substantially parallel to a front-back direction of a vehicle.

To remove also VOC gas generated from the discharged sheets, an image forming apparatus comprises an image forming unit which forms an image on a sheet; a tray on which sheets on which images are formed by the image forming unit are stacked; a suction device which sucks air from the surrounding space of sheets stacked up on the tray; and a VOC removing unit which removes VOC contained in the air sucked by the sucking device.

Provided is an image sensor that may reduce the number of external terminals for downsizing of a chip, generate a write signal (RE) of a Y address with one pulse, and employ an external circuit having the same configuration as that of the conventional example. The image sensor uses an X-Y address scanning system in a pixel element matrix, and includes: a register latch that sets a Y address for selection of a row according to a write signal; a Y address register that decodes a Y address data from the register latch to output a Y address signal for selection of the row in the pixel element matrix; and an X address control unit that generates an X address signal for selection of a column. The register latch brings the Y address register into a disenable state so as to cause the Y address register not to output the Y address signal at timing at which the write signal is input to the Y address register, and brings the Y address register into an enable state so as to cause the Y address register to output the Y address signal at timing at which the input of the write signal is completed and the Y address data is written into the Y address register.

Provided is a semiconductor temperature sensor capable of enhancing accuracy of temperature detection. A constant current circuit (13) of a current supply circuit (10a) causes a constant current to flow. A current mirror circuit of the current supply circuit (10a) supplies a temperature detection current from an output terminal thereof according to the constant current of the constant current circuit (13). A temperature detecting circuit (10b) outputs an output voltage according to the temperature detection current and a temperature. A PMOS transistor (19) of a leak current absorbing circuit (10c) has the same size and conductivity type as those of a PMOS transistor (15), and absorbs a leak current included in the temperature detection current (drain current of the PMOS transistor (15)).

The encryption device encrypts information formed on a recording member on the basis of a predetermined encryption code. A surface of the recording member is irradiated with light. An image of the irradiated surface of the recording member irradiated with the light is taken. The encryption code is prepared on the basis of the taken image of the irradiated surface.

A sheet transport apparatus includes a pair of rollers for transporting a sheet and a sheet detection device for detecting the sheet transported by the pair of rollers. The sheet detection device includes a flag that is displaceable when urged by the sheet transported by the pair of rollers and a single-chip acceleration sensor attached to the flag to detect the arrival of the sheet. When the sheet is brought into contact with the flag to rotate the flag, the acceleration sensor detects the roll acceleration of the flag so as to determine the timing of stopping the pair of rollers on the basis of a detection signal.
