Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to achieve a miniaturized power tool. Provided is a hammer drill (1A) that includes: a brushless motor (10) that is a drive source for a tip tool (20); a control unit for controlling the driving of the brushless motor (10); a motor housing (33) to which the brushless motor (10) is attached; and a handle housing (34) provided with a grip (2). The control unit includes: a switching board (12) and a Hall element board (13); and a converter board (11) on which an electrolytic capacitor (11a) is installed. The brushless motor (10) is disposed to be sandwiched between the electrolytic capacitor (11a), and the switching board (12) and the Hall element board (13), along the axial direction (M) of a drive shaft (16) that drives the tip tool (20).

Abstract: A drilling tool includes: a drive source; a bit attachment portion to which an end bit is attachable; a power transmission portion configured to apply a motive force to the end bit attached to the bit attachment portion; an operation portion switchable between an ON-state and an OFF-state by a manual operation and configured to receive a setting operation for setting a stop condition; and a controller configured to set the stop condition based on the setting operation, and to start driving of the drive source in response to a first switching operation for switching the operation portion from the OFF-state to the ON-state. In a state where the stop condition is set, even when the operation portion is in the ON-state, the controller stops driving of the drive source in response to the stop condition being met while the drive source is being driven.

Abstract: Provided is an electric tool with which work efficiency can be improved. A controller of an electric tool can execute: a first control, whereby during a non-operating state after a motor has started up and before a tip tool is set to be in an operating state, the motor is driven at a slow idling rotation speed, and when the tip tool is set to be in the operating state, the motor is driven at a normal rotation speed which is higher than the slow idling rotation speed; and a second control, whereby in a case where a trigger switch has been turned off in a state where the motor is being driven at the normal rotation speed and the trigger switch is thereafter turned on again under a prescribed condition, the motor is driven at the normal rotation speed regardless of the state of the tip tool.
