摘要: An inkjet head includes a head chip and an ink chamber. The head chip has a nozzle substrate provided with nozzles which discharge ink. The ink chamber is located over the head chip. In the ink chamber, the ink to be supplied to the nozzles is stored. The inkjet head is mounted on a mounting member. Between the nozzle substrate and the ink chamber, the inkjet head has a position reference substrate provided with butting parts. The butting parts are butted against the mounting member to position the inkjet head when the inkjet head is mounted on the mounting member.

摘要: There is provided an ink jet recording apparatus including an ink jet head and a drive circuit. The ink jet head forms an image on a recording medium in response to a drive signal applied to multiple piezoelectric elements. The drive signal causes multiple pressure chambers corresponding to the multiple piezoelectric elements to expand or to contract in volume and causes ink in the multiple pressure chambers to be discharged from multiple nozzles. The drive circuit generates a drive signal for discharging multiple liquid droplets to one pixel for combining the multiple liquid droplets together and applies the drive signal to each of the multiple piezoelectric elements of the ink jet head. The drive signal includes multiple discharge pulses which make velocities of tips of respective liquid columns substantially same after a predetermined time from starting of ink discharge from the nozzles.

摘要: An inkjet recording device includes a nozzle, a pressure generator and a driver. The nozzle ejects ink. The pressure generator changes pressure on ink in an ink flow path that communicates with the nozzle by a predetermined drive operation. The driver makes the pressure generator perform the drive operation predetermined limes of at least twice at time points on a predetermined cycle, and makes the nozzle eject an ink droplet of an amount corresponding to a number of drive operations included in a set of drive operations. In a case in which the number of drive operations is two, the driver makes the pressure generator perform the drive operation twice with an interval twice as long as the cycle.

摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus and an inkjet recording method which enable changing a droplet amount without changing a droplet speed of an ink discharged from the same nozzle, and including an inkjet head which expands and contracts a capacity of a pressure chamber by applying a driving signal to an actuator and a driving circuit which applies the driving signal to the actuator, the driving signal including a first expansion pulse which starts from a reference potential and expands the capacity of the pressure chamber, a first contraction pulse which contracts the capacity of the pressure chamber to discharge the ink from the nozzle, a second expansion pulse which expands the capacity of the pressure chamber, and a second contraction pulse which contracts the capacity of the pressure chamber and returns to the reference potential in the mentioned order, the driving circuit being configured to enable discharging different droplet amounts of the ink from the same nozzle by changing a potential difference between a start edge and an end edge of the first contraction pulse.

摘要: An inkjet head may include a plurality of nozzle holes that is two-dimensionally located in a nozzle formation surface facing a recording surface of a recording medium in a first direction parallel to a main-scanning direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the recording medium and in a sub-scanning direction parallel to the conveyance direction of the recording medium. Two nozzle holes that form dots adjacent in the main-scanning direction may be dispersedly located so as not to be adjacent in the sub-scanning direction. The two nozzle holes that form dots adjacent in the main-scanning direction are not separately located at one end and the other end in the sub-scanning direction of the plurality of nozzle holes that is two-dimensionally located.
