    Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes: a plurality of devices each including a hardware processor; and a display shared among the devices, wherein in response to detection of a pointer in a display region of the display, the display transmits detected position information indicating a detected position of the pointer to each of the devices, and the hardware processor of one of the devices determines whether a user operation by the pointer is an operation directed to the one of the devices, in accordance with the detected position information received from the display.

    Abstract: Provided is a two-component developer for developing an electrostatic latent image incorporating: toner particles each containing a toner mother particle having an external additive on a surface of the toner mother particle; and carrier particles each having a core material particle and a covering layer containing a resin on a surface of the core material particle, wherein the external additive contains inorganic particles; the inorganic particles are subjected to surface modification with silicone oil; a carbon content remained on a surface of the inorganic particle after the surface modification is within 3.0 to 10.0 mass %; a free carbon ratio on the surface of the inorganic particle is 70.0% or more; the carrier particles have a resistance in the range of 1.0×109 to 5.0×1010 Ω·cm; and the resin in the covering layer contains a resin formed from a monomer containing an alicyclic methacrylic acid ester monomer.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a controller that controls the image forming apparatus; a memory that stores noise levels produced by a plurality of devices constituting the image forming apparatus during operation of the devices; and a microphone that accepts a speech instruction for the image forming apparatus. The controller accepts a job, detects a speech level from the speech accepted by the microphone, compares the detected speech level with a noise level that corresponds to the job to be executed in the image forming apparatus and that has been read from the memory, and controls, based on a result of the comparison, which one of a process of accepting the speech instruction and a process of executing the job in the image forming apparatus should be preferentially performed.

    Abstract: A touch panel sharing support apparatus applicable for sharing a touch panel by a first system and a second system independent of each other, includes: a storage that stores definition data defining a first region for the first system and a second region for the second system, on a touch surface of the touch panel; a hardware processor that discriminates which of the first region and the second region a touched position on the touch surface belongs to on the basis of the definition data; and a transmitter that transmits operation data concerning operation onto the touch surface to the first system in a case where the hardware processor discriminates that the position belongs to the first region and transmits the operation data to the second system in a case where the hardware processor discriminates that the position belongs to the second region.

    Abstract: An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes: toner matrix particles containing a binder resin; and an external additive added to the toner matrix particles, wherein the external additive includes joined particles each including a secondary particle including a plurality of spherical primary particles joined together, the joined particles include at least particles with a secondary particle size d2 in the range of 70 nm to 400 nm, and particles with a ratio d2/d1 in the range of 1.6 to 4.2 make up at least 50% by number of the particles with a secondary particle size d2 in the range of 70 nm to 400 nm, wherein d1 is the diameter of primary particles in the joined particle, and d2 is the secondary particle size.

    Abstract: An image processing device that has a normal job mode and a reproducing and verifying mode includes: a hardware processor that: receives a job; controls processing of the received job in the normal job mode; generates job details information relating to the received job to be processed, when a problem occurs during processing of the job, adds a problem code corresponding to the problem to the job details information to manage the job details information; shifts to the reproducing and verifying mode from the normal job mode only if the problem code is added to the job details information; and generates a reproduced job based on the job details information added with the problem code and controls processing of the reproduced job in the reproducing and verifying mode.
