    摘要: An electrophotographic light-sensitive material is described. The material is comprised of an electrically conductive support and a light-sensitive layer on the support. The light-sensitive layer contains a copolymer comprising: (a) vinylidene chloride or vinyl chloride; (b) a vinyl based unsaturated monomer represented by the general formula: CH.sub.2 =C(R.sub.1)(R.sub.2) (wherein the symbols are as defined in the appended claims); and (c) a vinyl monomer containing a hydroxyl group at the side chain thereof. This light-sensitive layer exhibits good adhesive properties, is superior in durability and moisture resistance, and produces images free from white spots and fog.

    摘要: An electrophotographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a conductive layer containing cuprous iodide and a photoconductive layer. The photoconductive and electrophotographic characteristics are improved by forming a gelatin interlayer between the conductive layer and the photoconductive layer. The electrophotographic light-sensitive material can be used with either positive polarity or negative polarity.

    摘要: Disazo compounds represented by the following general formula (I) are disclosed. The compounds can function as effective photoconductive substances and further, as efficient charge carrier (both electron and positive hole) generating compounds in an electrophotographic photoreceptor: ##STR1## (wherein X represents atoms necessary to form an aromatic ring, such as a naphthalene ring, an anthracene ring, etc., or a netero ring, such as an indole ring, a carbazole ring, a dibenzofuran ring etc., (all of which rings may be either substituted ones or nonsubstituted ones) by combining with the benzene ring to which a hydroxyl group and a group Y are attached; Y represents ##STR2## R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, a phenyl group or a substituted group thereof; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a carbamoyl group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, or a substituted or a nonsubstituted amino group; R.sup.3 and R.sup.5 each represents an alkyl group, an aromatic ring residue like a phenyl group, an aromatic heterocyclic residue like a dibenzofranyl group, a carbazolyl group, etc., or a substituted group thereof; and R.sup.4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a phenyl group or a substituted group thereof).
