摘要： A spinning reel spool for more conveniently for locking and unlocking the mid-part of fishing line is provided. The spinning-reel spool has a spool body and a large-diameter tubular skirt. The spool body includes on an outer circumference a tubular bobbin trunk onto which fishing line is wound. The larger-diameter tubular skirt is formed integrally with the bobbin trunk on its rear. A fishing-line lock is provided on the outer periphery of the skirt. The fishing-line lock locks fishing-line. The locked fishing line is released under tension acting over a line roller when the fishing line is reeled out. The fishing-line lock includes a lock portion provided outwardly exposed and facing out on the skirt outer periphery, and a mount portion that extends into the skirt interior. The lock portion is configured to be approximately hemispherical or tetra-spherical in contour. The lock portion is formed so that the length A of the lock portion in the front-to-rear direction is shorter than the length B of the lock portion in the circumferential direction.

摘要： A spinning reel bail tripping device returns a bail arm from the line-releasing posture to the line-guiding posture smoothly as a rotor rotates in its line-guiding direction. The bail tripping device includes a shifting member, a switching member, and a roller. The shifting member can shift, when the bail arm pivots, between a first position corresponding to the line-guiding posture and a second position corresponding to the line-releasing posture. The shifting member has a portion that protrudes toward a front portion of the reel unit when the shifting member is in the second position. The switching member is arranged at the front of a reel unit. When the rotor rotates in line-guiding direction, the switching portion contacts the protruding portion, shifting the shifting member toward the first position. The roller is provided on the switching member at a portion contacting the shifting member, and rolls against the switching member.

摘要： The dual-bearing reel drag sound producing device includes a rotation member, a pivot shaft, a hitting member, a drive mechanism, and an urging member. The rotation member is disposed adjacent to the side cover to rotate unitarily with a main gear, and includes a plurality of sound producing convexes on an outer peripheral surface thereof. The hitting member is attached on the pivot shaft to move radially at a predetermined distance from the pivot shaft and configured to pivot between a silent position and a sound producing position. The drive mechanism is configured to cause the hitting member to pivot from the silent position to the sound producing position and further to a position being opposite to the silent position across the sound producing position, in conjunction with rotation of the main gear. The urging member is configured to urge the hitting member towards the sound producing position.
