摘要： A photographic film cassette has a spool lock mechanism, which is unlocked by a camera member when the film cassette is loaded in a camera. When the unlocked spool is unwound by a camera mechanism, a leader end of a film roll coiled on the spool is advanced outwardly from the interior of the cassette passing through a film passage mouth. When the spool is wound after the photographic film is exposed, the exposed photographic film is wound on the spool. During this winding operation, the film leader end is retained in the film passage mouth by an arresting hook. When the film in the film cassette is not exposed, an indicator shows an unexposed state, but shows an exposed state after the film in the film cassette has been exposed.

摘要： A self-advancing film cassette has at least one separation claw for separating a film leader from a roll of film. This separation claw is disposed within a cassette shell so that it will contact an outermost peripheral surface of a photographic film on the outer side of an area where a picture frame is to be formed. The separation claw is so configured that the contact position between the tip thereof and an end face of a film leader end is 1/3 or more of the film thickness when measured from the outer surface of the photographic film. The film leader projects most at a portion corresponding to the separation claw, and the film leader is formed to be narrow so that it will not be stuck to the film roll. In one embodiment, the film leader is subjected to deformation treatment to form a corrugated leading portion, or to rigidity increasing treatment to form a more rigid leading portion.

摘要： This invention relates to a photographic film cartridge including a spool, a film wound into a roll on the spool with one end connected with the spool, and a cartridge case, the spool extending substantially coaxially with respect to the cartridge case and being carried at the opposite end portions by the opposite end walls of the cartridge case for rotation about the longitudinal axis of the spool, the cartridge case being provided with a film outlet through which the film is fed out and a shielding material on inner surfaces of the film outlet for keeping the interior of the cartridge case shielded from external light, characterized in that at least one adhesive material is provided for detachably adhering a winding of the roll of film to an adjacent winding of the roll of the film.

摘要： A pair of flanges are rotatably and pivotably support on a spool of a film cassette near its two ends for defining positions of both lateral edges of photographic film. Each flange consists of a disk and a circumferential lip. A pair of lips are formed on the disks in the flanges along peripheries thereof and project face to face with each other for contact with edges of an outermost turn of the film. The film is prevented from loosening by the lips. Ridges inside a cassette shell force the flanges to pivot, with respect to the axis of rotation of the spool, against the film wound in a roll. Both side faces of the film wound in a roll are partly clamped in a state with the flanges out of the vertical relative to the spool. Both lateral sides of a leading end portion of the film are cut off. An interval between the lateral edges of the film is smaller than a minimum interval between opposing circumferential edges of the lips. In a preferred embodiment, a pair of projections are formed on an inside of the cassette shell near the film passageway for projecting to be in contact with the circumferential edges of the lips, and keep the flanges out of the vertical in addition to the ridges.

摘要： A photographic camera has a fork disposed in a cassette receiving chamber to be coupled to a spool core of a photographic film cassette. Photographic film from the photographic film cassette is wound on a take-up reel disposed in a photographic film take-up chamber. A magnetic head is disposed on a frame of an exposure aperture, and reads/writes data on a magnetic recording area of the photographic film. A brake pad applies load to the fork, and keeps the photographic film in such a tension as to ensure flatness during the one-frame feeding. A guide member is formed to project from an inner wall of the photographic film take-up chamber. When a photographic film leader is advanced into the photographic film take-up chamber, the photographic film leader is guided downstream from the take-up reel against a curling tendency.

摘要： A photographic film cassette has photographic film wound on a spool and rotatably contained in a cassette shell. A leader of the photographic film is caused by rotation of the spool to advance outward from a passage mouth thereof. Two positioning holes are formed in an end face of the cassette shell on an advancing side as inserted into a cassette receiving chamber of a camera, and are fittable on projections of a camera when the cassette shell is loaded therein. Three projections are formed on the end face, and come into contact with an upper inside face of the chamber of the camera when the cassette is loaded in the camera, in order to position the cassette shell vertically. The chamber has an engaging pin, which is engaged with a groove in the cassette shell, to prevent the cassette from dropping out, even when a chamber door is opened downward. A DX code pattern and a use-condition signaling structure are disposed adjacently on the cassette shell, and represent respectively a sensitivity of the photographic film and a condition of use thereof, both of which are detected by a single sensor unit of the camera.

摘要： A photo film cassette contains a spool in rotatable fashion, with a photo film wound thereabout as a roll. Rotation of the spool in an unwinding direction causes the photo film to exit through a passage port. Upper and lower shell halves constitute a cassette shell. Two combinations of a retaining hook and a receiving portion are disposed on the cassette shell and respectively beside the passage port. Both hooks are formed on the lower shell half. Both receiving portions are formed on the upper shell half, are engaged with the hook, and fixedly secure the shell halves. The hooks and the receiving portions are shaped straight along a width of the photo film. A pair of second receiving portions are formed on the upper shell half, and are engaged with the hooks prior to engagement of the first receiving portions with the hooks. The second receiving portions keep the upper shell half partially separate from the lower shell half, and retain the shell halves in preliminary fashion, before the shell halves are joined up. In a preferred embodiment, a hinge section is disposed in the cassette shell in opposition to the passage port, and connects the shell halves in swingable fashion. Two access openings are formed in the cassette shell for rendering the hooks respectively accessible externally, to allow external disengagement of the hooks.
