In the step of broadcasting the information on the MBS setting, a preset pilot tone, uplink/downlink information, or the sub-carriers unused in bandwidth of the system are used for broadcasting the information.

The system includes: a relay center side system, which is adopted to the relay center, according to the relay center side packet identification description (PID) key, for modifying the PID of transport stream and generating the distorted program specific information (PSI); and a terminal side system, which is adopted to the DMB terminal, according to the terminal side PID key, for recovering the distorted PSI of the transport stream received from the relay center and decoding it. The method includes the steps of: identifying whether the actual PID of the TS is consistent when the TS is demultiplexed by audio/video PID acquired through the program map table (PMT) analysis of the TS; generating a preset alarm signal; modifying the PID of the audio/video data in the PMT according to the terminal side PID; and demultiplexing the TS according to the modified PID value.

Disclosed is a broadcast splitter enabling a selective transmission in real time. The broadcast splitter divides one multi-program transport stream (MPTS), which is obtained by multiplexing motion picture expert group-2 transport streams (MPEG-2TSs), into several single program transport streams (SPTSs). In particular, the broadcast splitter for MPEG-2TSs has a function of selecting a desired SPTS by performing a switching operation with respect to an MPTS in real-time without storing the MPTS when the MPTS is split into several SPTSs. Accordingly, it is possible to transmit MPTS signals in real time because desired TSs are extracted and delivered to output ports in real time by using a broadcast switch without storing the MPTS signals in a storage unit such as a RAM.

The method includes the steps of determining an erroneous macro block in a present frame when the moving picture is decoded, finding a first macro block having a highest similarity to the erroneous macro block and a second macro block having a next highest similarity to the erroneous block in a previous frame by comparing adjacent pixels of respective blocks in the previous frame with adjacent pixels of the erroneous block in the present frame; and replacing the erroneous block by using an average between the found macro blocks having the highest similarity and the second highest similarity to thereby conceal the erroneous macro block. The apparatus includes a parser, an entropy decoder, an inverse quantizer, an inverse converter, and a concealment unit that uses motion compensation from a previous frame to correct a macro block in a current frame.
