摘要: Systems and methods for relaying in broadcast single-frequency networks are disclosed herein. A single-frequency network can be formed in part using transmitters that receive data via a cooperative relay channel instead of a station-to-transmitter link. In some embodiments, a second channel may use a portion of its transmission time to relay the information to the single-frequency network transmitter using time-division multiplexing. In other embodiments, a second channel may encode the relayed information on a second layer using layer-division multiplexing.

The system may include: an encoder adapted to generate a video stream comprising a plurality of encoded frames, encoded according to at least one encoding parameter; a comparator in communication with the encoder, the comparator adapted to compare encoded frames of the plurality of encoded frames with input frames to determine a fitness metric reflective of visual quality of the encoded frames; and a controller in communication with the comparator, the controller adapted to adjust the at least one encoding parameter based on the fitness metric.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for communication ultra-high definition (UHD) video. At the transmitter-side, a single packet stream that includes packets corresponding to a plurality of encoded content streams may be generated, and the single packet stream may be split into a plurality of sub-streams. The splitting may include grouping packets corresponding to the single packet stream into a plurality of chunks, each associated with a respective one of the sub-streams; adding handling related information to each of the chunks; and incorporating into at least one packet in a first one of the sub-streams at least some of handling related information associated with a second one of the sub-steams. The sub-streams may then be processed for transmission over a particular physical medium. At the receiver-side, the signals may be received and processed, and the sub-streams may be reconstructed based on processing of the plurality signals.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a data transmission method and apparatus based on unequal error protection and a device. The method includes: segmenting, according to a quantity of symbol bits in a constellation diagram, a code block corresponding to data, to obtain segmented code blocks; performing rate matching on the segmented code blocks obtained by channel encoding, to obtain output code blocks; cascading the output code blocks according to the quantity of symbol bits in the constellation diagram, to obtain cascaded code blocks; and sending the cascaded code blocks to a terminal device.

摘要: Described is a network system and method of use for distributing audiovisual data. The network comprises two or more audio sinks, each of the audio sinks having a corresponding audio format capability, a first source adapted to generate and transmit audiovisual data, wherein the audiovisual data includes an audio file formatted with a first audio format capability, and the at least one source being further adapted to transmit the audiovisual data to the two or more audio sinks through the network system using both an high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and internet protocol (IP), and a first transmitter adapted to receive the transmitted audiovisual data from the first source. The first transmitter is further adapted to generate two or more transmission streams of audiovisual data, wherein each of the two or more audiovisual data transmission streams include audio data formatted according to the audio format capability of the audio sink to which it is being transmitted to.

An example camera system for a firearm includes a camera assembly, display panel, a mounting fixture, and switching mechanism. An example camera assembly includes a plurality of cameras fixedly oriented in a plurality of different directions. An example mounting fixture is secured to the camera assembly and configured to be removably attached to a firearm. An example switch is configured to select between the plurality of cameras to cause an image from the selected camera to be displayed on the display panel. An example method includes activating a firearm-mounted camera system, receiving a switch input from a user selecting a camera, generating an image of a portion of an environment with the selected camera, and displaying the image on a display panel to alert the user to conditions in the portion of the environment.

Furthermore, the promotion application controls a process for promoting a content.

摘要: Systems and methods for future-proofed control signaling are disclosed herein. A waveform enabling broadcast transmission of physical layer frames having variable parameters can be extended to allow for future additions to the control signaling structure without breaking compatibility with existing receivers. In some embodiments, new signaling parameters can be added in an existing portion of a preamble and the length of the modified parameter set can be indicated to legacy receivers. In some embodiments new signaling parameters can be added at the end of the existing preamble and viewed as reserved bits by legacy receivers.

摘要: A cooperative communication method includes determining bandwidth of a first wireless network that user equipment (UE) currently accesses, determining bandwidth required by data to be sent to the UE, and when the bandwidth of the first wireless network cannot meet the bandwidth required by the to-be-sent data, sending a first part of data packets to the first wireless network, and sending a second part of the data packets to at least one core network, so that the at least one core network sends the second part of the data packets to the UE using at least one wireless network, where a communications protocol of the first wireless network is different from that of the at least one wireless network. Bandwidth resources can be integrated on wireless networks with different communications protocols, so that fluent transmission of data can be implemented.
