The data slot reservation system includes a first device for broadcasting an extended distributed reservation protocol (DRP) availability information element storing data slot reservation information of at least one neighboring device located in a plutality-hop distance; and a second device for checking reservation states of neighboring devices of the first device by using the extended DRP availability information element, and carrying out a data slot reservation negotiation according to a result of the check. Therefore, the data slot reservation system can avoid reservation conflicts all together, or effectively resolve reservation conflicts when they occur.

The second device that receives the message containing the state change information informs the first device of the presence of data to be transmitted. The first device that is informed of the data to be transmitted sends a message permitting the data transfer. The second device upon receiving the message transmits the data to the first device.

    摘要: A signal reception apparatus and method for communication systems. The signal reception apparatus for communication systems according to the present invention is applicable to communication environments in which a plurality of sub-bands having different frequency bands are sequentially used for communications. An embodiment of the invention has a multi-band index generation unit, a multi-band frequency generation unit, a multiplication unit, a correlation signal reception unit, and a buffer unit. The multi-band index generation unit generates a multi-band index corresponding to a sub-band to which a received signal is transmitted in correspondence with the multi-band index. The multiplication unit outputs a signal obtained by multiplying the received signal by the multi-band frequency. The correlation signal reception unit integrates and outputs the signal of the multiplication unit based on an integral time set in correspondence with the multi-band index. Further, the buffer unit buffers the signal of the correlation signal reception unit to be outputted at a predetermined data rate.

    摘要: A wireless communication apparatus capable of adjusting a time interval between slot sections in accordance with the amount of traffic in a piconet. The wireless communication apparatus has a transceiver for sending and receiving data to and from an external device, a beacon channel generator for generating a train of beacon slots during a park mode, with a constant interval, a slot section calculator for calculating the time interval of the trains of beacon slots consecutively generated based on a coefficient of slot utilization and a wakeup ratio, and a controller for controlling the beacon channel generator for allowing the trains of beacon slots to be generated at the time interval calculated by the slot section calculator. The beacon channel generator sets up an access window for activating the data communication with the external device, after the trains of beacon slots are generated. Accordingly, the wireless communication apparatus can cope with the change of traffic characteristics of piconet environment, as the time interval of the trains of beacon slots can be adjusted according to the coefficient of slot utilization and the wakeup ratio of the slot section.
