    摘要: An apparatus for supplying a slurry to a polishing surface has a slurry source, a slurry supply line, and a slurry return line. The slurry supply line and slurry return line are configured so that slurry may be directed from the outlet of the slurry supply line onto the polishing surface during a chemical mechanical polishing operation, or into an inlet of the slurry return line after the polishing operation is stopped. This permits continuous circulation of slurry through the slurry supply line to prevent coagulation.

    摘要: The present invention is a method, system and apparatus for routing messages in a computing enterprise. In accordance with the present invention, one or more stateless message brokers can be coupled to a database of message routing filters. Subscribers to particular messages in the message routing system can register individual filters in the database which describe which types of messages are to be routed to the subscribers rather than with individual stateful message brokers. When a stateless message broker receives an incoming message, the message broker can formulate a single database query based upon artifact attributes encapsulated within the message and the message broker can forward the query to the database. Using the single query, the database can resolve a set of zero or more subscribers who have registered a filter matching the artifact elements in the query. The resolved set of subscribers can be returned to the stateless message broker which can route the messages accordingly.

    摘要: An intraocular lens injector plunger having a blunt, rounded tip offset from the centerline of the plunger rod. The offset tip assures that the tip is biased downward against the bottom of the cartridge bore. Such a downward bias helps prevent the tip from riding up over the IOL and being folded within the IOL. The offset also helps prevent the haptics of the IOL from becoming trapped between the plunger rod and the cartridge bore, thereby damaging the haptics and/or preventing the IOL from being advanced down the bore.

Folding members within the lens holder are configured to fold the IOL into a partially folded position when the IOL is slid through the bore across the folding members. The IOL transfer case also includes an interface configured to removably connect to an injection cartridge. The interface is positioned to deliver the IOL in the partially folded position within the injection cartridge when the interface is connected to the injection cartridge. The IOL transfer case also includes a plunger connected to the lens holder and configured to push the IOL in the partially folded position through the bore to deliver the IOL into the injection cartridge.

In particular implementations, a system for intraocular lens surgery may include a shell, a plunger, and a deformable sleeve. The shell may, for example, include an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the inner wall defines a passage through the body. The plunger may be adapted to move within the passage and include first end adapted to be engaged by a user for advancing the plunger within the passage and a second end adapted to interface with an intraocular lens. The deformable sleeve may be sized to fit around the plunger and adapted to engage with the shell and the plunger to provide force feedback to advancing the plunger through the passage.
