摘要: A washing machine and a controlling method of the same are disclosed. A washing machine includes a cabinet (10) defining an exterior appearance thereof, a tub (20) provided in the cabinet (10), the tub (20) receiving wash water therein, a drum (30) rotatable inside the tub (20), the drum (30) receiving laundry therein, a plurality of sensor members (100,102,104,112,116,120,130) installed in at least one of the drum (30) and tub (20), each of the sensor members (100,102,104,112,116,120,130) sensing the distance between the drum (30) and the tub (20), and a control part controlling the drum (30) based on a sensing value sensed by the sensor members (100,102,104,112,116,120,130). An object of the present invention is to provide a washing machine having a secured tub (20) that is able to prevent collision between a drum (30) and the tub (20), and a controlling method thereof.

The method for washing includes supplying wash water mixed with a detergent, spinning or rinsing the laundry by rotating the washing machine drum in which the laundry is located, thereby causing the laundry to be repeatedly lifted within and then fall towards the bottom of the drum. The method further involves balancing the laundry by repeatedly accelerating and decelerating the drum. The wash water is then drained.

摘要: A washing method and a washing machine are provided. Wash water is drained from a tub prior to initiating a main spinning process, and wash water is supplied into a drum to decrease the volume of the laundry which is increased by the draining. Therefore, it is possible to effectively reduce the volume of laundry and thus to improve the mobility of the laundry. Then, a main spinning process is performed by spinning the drum at high speed.

摘要: A washing machine is provided. The washing machine controls a dehydration rotation speed by detecting a phase difference between a ball balancer and the laundry. Further, the washing machine controls a dehydration rotation speed at a dehydration segment based on a dehydration rotation speed of a driving device. Thereby, the washing machine minimizes energy using in a dehydration process by accelerating the dehydration rotation speed at a point at which a phase difference between the ball balancer and the laundry is a maximum. Further, by accelerating the dehydration rotation speed at a point at which the phase difference is a maximum, a vibration of the washing machine is remarkably reduced.

The method may include rotating a drum, measuring and storing a vibration level of a cabinet while increasing a rotational speed of the drum, and measuring the vibration level of the cabinet after the rotational speed of the drum reaches a target rotational speed and determining whether or not the vibration level of the cabinet is greater than a set value. The method may then include adjusting the rotational speed of the drum if the vibration level is greater than the set value so as to minimize vibration and resonance in a support surface on which the washing machine is positioned.
