    摘要： A beamforming method in a communication system having a transmitter for transmitting signals to users on a plurality of transmit antennas, and spatially identifying the users and a plurality of receivers for receiving the signals discriminately. A beamforming weight is determined based on channel information received from each of the receivers, based on whether the each receiver uses a single antenna or a plurality of antennas. A transmission signal is multiplied by the beamforming weight and transmitted.

    摘要： Disclosed is a method for configuring transmission antenna groups in a mobile communication system with multiple transmission antennas and multiple reception antennas. The method includes the steps of: receiving a first matrix having a size of ‘Nt×Nt’, which corresponds to Nt number of transmission antennas, fedback from the mobile terminal, generating combinations of sub-matrixes of the first matrix corresponding to Nr number of reception antennas, and calculating sums of maximum eigenvalues; determining combinations of the sub-matrixes having a maximum value from among the calculated sums of eigenvalues to be transmission antenna groups for the Nt number of transmission antennas; and transmitting different relevant symbols from each other through the transmission antenna groups.

    摘要： A signal detection method and apparatus in a receiver in a MIMO mobile communication system. The receiver orders symbol combinations transmittable from a transmitter in an ascending order of the difference between the symbol combinations and transmit symbols produced by eliminating inter-symbol interference from a received signal, initializes a symbol combination with the minimum difference to an ML solution, calculates the distance between a first symbol combination and the transmit symbols and the cost of a second symbol combination, detects a symbol combination having a distance to the transmit symbols equal to the distance between the first symbol combination and the transmit symbols, and having a minimum distance, and decides the first symbol combination as the ML solution if the minimum distance exceeds the distance between the first symbol combination and the transmit symbols.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for supporting relaying in a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus and method include a transmitting apparatus which acquires channel information between the transmitting apparatus and an RS, pre-encodes a transmission signal to be transmitted to the RS with the channel information, transmits the pre-coded signal to the RS, and acquires, upon receipt of a signal from the RS, a signal transmitted by a receiving apparatus by eliminating the transmission signal transmitted to the RS from the received signal. Accordingly, the apparatus and method improve system capacity gain without adding time resources.
