Abstract: An adjustable bed base has a subframe which may be raised and lowered relative to a stationary frame by primary linear actuators. A deck is attached to the subframe. The deck may be flat or fully articulated depending upon the position of secondary linear actuators which are a part of a subframe module. The subframe module may be secured to the stationary frame of the adjustable bed base. The deck may be inclined by extending one of the primary linear actuators more than the other regardless of the positions of the deck members.

The roller carriage includes wheels which move along rails supported below a rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform. Abstract: An adjustable bed base has a stationary frame and a stationary seat platform raised above the stationary frame via a riser. An articulating platform includes three platforms, head and foot platforms being hinged to the stationary seat platform. Front and rear linear actuators articulate the deck such that the head and foot platforms decline relative to the stationary seat platform when the linear actuators are fully retracted. The head and foot platforms may be inclined when the linear actuators are fully extended. In some configurations, all three platforms may be co-planar. The raised seat platform of the articulated platform facilitates those who sleep face down.

Abstract: An adjustable bed base has a subframe assembly including a subframe which may be inclined relative to a stationary frame by a primary linear actuator. An articulating deck is attached to the subframe. Secondary linear actuators articulate the deck. The subframe assembly is pivotally secured to a portion of the stationary frame. The subframe may be inclined by extending the primary linear actuator which moves ramps, causing wheels attached to the subframe to ride upwardly along the ramps, thereby raising the head end of the subframe relative to the stationary frame.
