摘要： An adjustable bed is provided. The adjustable bed can include an outer support perimeter that provides structural support to various components of the adjustable bed. The outer support perimeter can include a plurality of panels, where two panels can be coupled together by a panel connecting member which can be received inside a void of both panels. The panel connecting member can be secured to the two panels using one or more fasteners in such a manner that the fasteners are not visible on the outside surface of the outer support perimeter. The adjustable bed can include a storage compartment positioned beneath a foot segment of a mattress support member. The storage compartment can be accessed by pivoting the foot segment of the mattress support member up and away from the adjustable bed.

The roller carriage includes wheels which move along rails supported below a rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform. The roller carriage includes a lifter which raises and lowers a roller independently of the movement of the linear actuator. Regardless of the position of the linear actuator, the roller may be raised or lowered. The roller moves back and forth inside the opening extending through the rigid platform and imparts a massage movement to a mattress above the foundation.

The stationary frame is supported by multiple leg assemblies of different heights. 摘要： A mechanism for securing a mattress on a bed foundation is provided. More particularly, the invention relates to a folding mattress-retention mechanism that may compactly fold or be easily removed during shipping or storage. The folding mattress-retention mechanism includes a mattress-support structure, a first hinged attachment, and a second hinged attachment. The mattress-support structure includes a first and second end and may abut a side of a mattress atop a bed foundation. The first and second hinged attachments are coupled to the mattress-support structure at the respective first and second ends and may either affix or removably attach the folding mattress-retention mechanism to the foot, head, or sides of a bed foundation. Further, the hinged attachments may allow for movement, and the folding mattress-retention mechanism may move into and between an operable first position and a stowed second position.
