Abstract: The makeup removal composition includes at least one branched or linear, liquid alkane with carbon chain length of C11 to C20, at least one polar emollient with molecular weight of 400 g/mol or less, at least one polymeric thickener for water-based system, and at least one surfactant in a water-based emulsion/suspension system comprising oil and water phases, the water phase including water present from about 70% to about 85% by weight of the composition.
