Abstract: A makeup removal composition includes a blend of oils comprising one or more branched or linear liquid alkanes with carbon chain length of C11 to C20, including isohexadecane and isododecane, and one or more emollient esters, at least one polymeric thickener for a water-based system, at least one polyglyceryl nonionic surfactant and water in a bi-phase micellar system having oily and water phases, the water phase including water present from about 30% to about 70% by weight of the makeup removal composition wherein water and oil are present in a ratio of water to oil from about 1.5:1 to about 1:1.5. The product removed by wiping without rinsing with water.
