Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising a combination of an antioxidant, of a specific fatty acid ester, a Bifidobacterium species lysate and a yeast extract. The invention also relates to a method for the cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, in particular human keratin materials, such as the scalp and the hair, employing said composition. The present invention also relates to the non-therapeutic cosmetic use of said composition for maintaining, indeed even restoring, the balance of the microbial flora of the scalp. The invention additionally relates to a device comprising one or more containers which comprises (comprise) the composition according to the invention.
