Abstract: A vehicle with a Geo-Fenced Ride Control System including: one or more battery modules including one or more battery cells; one or more processors operably connected to the one or more battery cells to control vehicle performance; and a Global Positioning System (GPS) or cellular network receiver configured to determine location of the vehicle; wherein the one or more processors communicates with a remote sever to determine a plurality of available vehicle performance settings for the vehicle based on the location of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a user input interface configured to receive user input including selection of the vehicle performance setting form the plurality of available vehicle performance settings based on the geographic location of the vehicle.

Abstract: A battery-centric virtual grid system may include battery modules, each including: one or more battery cells, one or more processors that obtain performance information from the one or more battery cells, the one or more processors configured to identify a respective device being powered by the respective modules from the plurality based on the respective performance information and to determine characteristics of the respective device being powered by the respective module from the plurality based on the performance information or configured to receive data from the respective device powered by the module from the plurality, the one or more transceivers configured to remotely receive and transmit data, thus the respective device becoming part of an IOT network via the respective module, and an enclosure at least partially enclosing the one or more battery cells, the one or more module processors, and the one or more transceivers.

Abstract: A battery module may include a rectangular tower comprised of four longitudinal faces, a top face, and a bottom face; one or more battery cells disposed inside the rectangular tower; chamfered edges disposed around a perimeter of the bottom face, the chamfered edges reducing a perimeter of the bottom face as the chamfered edges extend downwards towards at an extreme end of the bottom face; and a battery module connector disposed adjacent the extreme end of the bottom face recessed from the extreme end of the bottom face and at least partially shrouded by the chamfered edges, the battery module connector including or having formed thereon one or more alignment pins or one or more alignment pins receivers and one or more electrical contacts.

Abstract: A home battery backup system may include a plurality of battery modules. Each battery module from the plurality may include one or more battery cells, a power output operably connected to the one or more battery cells, one or more module processors operably connected to the one or more battery cells or the power output, and an enclosure at least partially enclosing the one or more battery cells, the one or more module processors. The power outputs of each of the battery modules in the plurality may be connected to a common bus. A first battery module from the plurality may be settable to a first output power profile and a second battery module from the plurality may be simultaneously settable to a second output power profile different from the first output power profile.
