Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an electrode assembly, comprising: interposing a plurality of first electrodes one by one, which are spaced apart from each other, between two separators; stacking a second electrode on each of outer surfaces of the separators on each of both sides of the first electrode at positions that are skipped by one of the plurality of positions on which the first electrodes are disposed to alternately continuously form a bi-cell, in which the second electrode/the separator/the first electrode/the separator/the second electrode are sequentially stacked, and a half-cell, in which the separator/the first electrode/the separator are sequentially stacked; cutting the stack into a unit cell in which one bi-cell and one half-cell are connected to each other; folding the unit cell so that the bi-cell and the half-cell are stacked; and stacking a plurality of folded unit cells to manufacture the electrode assembly.

Abstract: Discussed is a notching apparatus for a secondary battery that includes: a lower mechanism comprising a die and a die holder to which the die is fixed, the die engaging an electrode provided with a coating portion and a non-coating portion; a stripper including a first stripper pressing the coating portion and a pair of second strippers pressing and fixing the non-coating portion; an upper mechanism including a punch provided between the pair of second strippers and provided with a cutting blade cutting the non-coating portion disposed between the pair of second strippers and a punch holder allowing the punch to move in a direction of the lower mechanism; and a pressing member pressing the non-coating portion disposed between the pair of second strippers to increase in tension force when the non-coating portion is cut by the punch.

Abstract: An alignment inspection apparatus for the electrode assembly including a laminate, in which a first separator, an internal electrode, a second separator, and an upper electrode are sequentially laminated, includes a camera disposed above a central portion of the electrode assembly to photograph and inspect the electrode assembly and side lights obliquely irradiating light onto each of both ends of the upper electrode. The side lights are symmetrical to each other with respect to the central portion of the electrode assembly.
