Abstract: Disclosed is a data driving circuit comprising a digital-to-analog converter configured to supply a data voltage to a plurality of data lines connected to respective pixels and to respectively supply sensing driving data voltages having different voltage levels to the first data line and the second data line adjacent to each other among the plurality of data lines, and a line defect detecting portion connected to the first data line and the second data line and configured to sense a sensing data voltage of each of the first data line and the second data line and to detect whether a short circuit occurs between the first data line and the second data line based on the sensed sensing data voltage.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel having a plurality of pixels. The device includes a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels via a plurality of data lines using a sensing result of the plurality of pixels via a first reference voltage line, a second reference voltage line, and a third reference line. The device includes a gate driver configured to supply a gate signal to the plurality of pixels via a plurality of gate lines. Each of the plurality of data lines is branched into a plurality of sub data lines and each of the plurality of sub data lines is connected to a plurality of sub pixels having the same color. The reference voltage lines are connected to the plurality of sub pixels. The device improves a sensing speed of the sub pixel.

Abstract: A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of pixels configured to be driven in one of a driving period and a blank period, a timing controller configured to output a variable refresh rate (VRR) signal determining a refresh rate of the plurality of pixels and a video data signal, and a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels through a plurality of data lines, according to the VRR signal and the video data signal. The plurality of pixels can be driven at a first refresh rate or a second refresh rate which is lower than the first refresh rate, according to the VRR signal. Further, when the plurality of pixels are driven at the second refresh rate and the video data signal is a low grayscale video data signal, the output luminance of each of the plurality of pixels can be reduced during the blank period.
