    Abstract: A driving circuit, a display panel, and a display device are provided. The display panel comprises a plurality of common electrodes; a plurality of phototransistors, two or more phototransistors among the plurality of phototransistors being disposed in an area corresponding to each of the plurality of common electrodes; a plurality of photo-control lines electrically connected to a gate electrode of at least one phototransistor among the plurality of phototransistors; a plurality of photo-driving lines electrically connected to a first electrode of at least one phototransistor among the plurality of phototransistors, and a plurality of read-out lines, each of the plurality of read-out lines being electrically connected to a single common electrode among the plurality of common electrodes, and electrically connected to second electrodes of all of the phototransistors disposed in the area corresponding to the single common electrode to which each of the plurality of read-out lines are electrically connected. According to the present disclosure, an increase in non-open areas is minimized and the magnitude of the output signal of the phototransistor detected through the read-out line is increased, thereby improving photosensing performance.

    Abstract: A display panel includes common electrodes in an active area and a first driving circuit on one side of the active area and a second driving circuit on the other side of the active area. First read-out lines are electrically connected to the common electrodes, respectively, and to the first driving circuit. Second read-out lines are electrically connected to the second driving circuit, and to the first read-out lines, respectively. An output signal of phototransistors may be detected using read-out lines connected to a common electrode serving as a touch sensor, such that touch sensing and photosensing can be performed using the shared read-out line. No disconnection areas are provided between the read-out lines driven by the different driving circuits, or the disconnection areas are distributed. Abnormalities in image quality due to the disconnection areas are prevented, and a sensing function using the shared read-out lines is provided.

    Abstract: A display device can include a display panel including data lines and gate lines on a triangular-shaped board, and a plurality of pixels in a matrix arrangement, in which pixel rows are arranged with a step for each at least one gate line among the gate lines based on a number of the plurality of pixels connected to each of the gate lines; a data-driving unit on a first side of the triangular-shaped board, and configured to supply data voltages to the data lines to drive the data lines; and a gate-driving unit including a plurality of gate-in-panels (GIPs) on a second side of the triangular-shaped board, in which the plurality of gate-in-panels are arranged to correspond to the step for each of the at least one gate line and sequentially supply a gate signal to the plurality of gate lines to sequentially drive the gate lines.

    Abstract: A display panel, a display device, and a driving circuit including both a touch sensor configuration and a photosensor configuration are disclosed. The driving circuit comprises a multi-sensing circuit electrically connected to a plurality of common electrodes, disposed in a display panel, through a plurality of read-out lines disposed in the display panel; and a photo-driving circuit driving a plurality of photo-driving lines and a plurality of photo-control lines through which a photo-driving signal and a photo-control signal are transferred to a plurality of phototransistors disposed in the display panel, wherein each of the plurality of phototransistors comprises a gate electrode to which the photo-control signal is applied, a first electrode to which the photo-driving signal is applied, and a second electrode serving as a signal output node, with a signal being output to the second electrode in response to illumination light, and the multi-sensing circuit receives the signal, output from the second electrode of each of the plurality of phototransistors, through a corresponding read-out line among the plurality of read-out lines. A high aperture ratio is obtained since electrode and line structures for touch sensing and photosensing are efficiently designed.
