    Abstract: A liquid crystal display preventing a light leakage is disclosed. The liquid crystal display includes gate lines and data lines disposed to cross over each other, a common line crossing over the data lines and disposed in parallel with the gate lines, a dummy data line crossing over the gate lines and disposed in parallel with the data lines, a dummy pixel electrode disposed in a dummy area formed by an outermost data line of the data lines, the dummy data line, and the gate lines, a pixel electrode disposed in a pixel area between inside data lines of the data lines and the gate lines, and a common electrode disposed to overlap the pixel electrode and the dummy pixel electrode. The dummy pixel electrode is connected to the common line.

    Abstract: A partial transparent display device has a light transmitting function and a light emitting function in one area. The partial transparent display device includes a substrate, a transparent emission area, a driving emission area, and a pad part. The transparent emission area is disposed to be adjacent to one side of the substrate. The driving emission area is disposed to be adjacent to the transparent emission area and to be closer to the other side opposite to the one side. The pad part extends from the driving emission area and is disposed on the other side. The driving emission area includes driving emission pixels which are defined by scan lines, data lines, and pixel driving power supply lines. The transparent emission area includes transparent emission pixels which are defined without the scan lines, the data lines, and the pixel driving power supply lines.

    Abstract: Discussed are a liquid crystal display device and a method of fabricating the same in which a single common line is formed at the center of a substrate, which results in an enhanced aperture ratio and transmittance. The liquid crystal display device includes a single common line located at a center of a substrate; a first group of unit pixels located in a right portion of the substrate on the basis of the common line and a second group of unit pixels located in a left portion of the substrate on the basis of the common line, each unit pixel defined by a plurality of gate lines and data lines orthogonally intersecting each other; and a plurality of thin film transistors formed at a right side of the respective unit pixels of the first group and at a left side of the respective unit pixels of the second group.
