An electroluminescent display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a first compensation value calculator for calculating a first compensation value based on prediction according to an accumulation result of video data to be written in the pixels, a second compensation value calculator for calculating a second compensation value based on sensing according to an electrical sensing value with respect to driving characteristics of the pixels, and a data corrector for correcting the video data based on the first compensation value and the second compensation value.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting diode display device is disclosed which adjusts brightnesses and color temperatures of RGBW data signals and matches the brightnesses of organic light emitting diodes and the color temperature of a white organic light emitting diode with the target brightness value and the target color temperature of a white pixel. As such, an overcompensation and the reduction of a lifespan can be prevented. Also, relatively high brightness and color temperature can be maintained.

An electroluminescent display device includes a pixel configured to display an image based on a difference between a display data voltage and a first reference voltage, a driving voltage generation circuit configured to supply the display data voltage to the pixel through a data line, and a sensing circuit configured to supply the first reference voltage to the pixel through a sensing line. The sensing circuit includes a sensing channel terminal coupled to the sensing line, a switch coupled between the sensing channel terminal and an input terminal for the first reference voltage, and a sampling circuit configured to sense a voltage of the sensing line which has changed from the first reference voltage independent of driving characteristics of the pixel in a vertical blank period in which the switch is turned off.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting diode display device according to an embodiment includes pixels each configured with an organic light emitting diode and a driving switch used to control a current flowing through the organic light emitting diode. The organic light emitting diode display device compensates a deterioration property of the organic light emitting diode after properties of the driving switch is compensated. As such, the deterioration property of the organic light emitting diode can be maximally reflected to a sensing data. In accordance therewith, the deterioration property of the organic light emitting diode can be accurately compensated.
