Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display panel is disclosed which is defined into a plurality of pixel regions and includes: first through third pixel drivers arranged in each of the pixel regions and configured to each drive respective organic light emitting diode; and first through third pixel electrodes arranged in each of the pixel regions and connected to the first through third pixel drivers. The first and second pixel drivers within an odd-numbered pixel region share a first power supply line with each other. The third pixel driver within the odd-numbered pixel region shares a second power supply line with the first pixel driver within an even-numbered pixel region adjacent to the odd-numbered pixel region. The second and third pixel electrodes are arranged along a first direction parallel to a major axis of the first pixel electrode and disposed to expend along second directions perpendicular to the first direction.

Abstract: Provided is an OLED display device including a plurality of pixel each of which includes a light emitting element and a cell driver configured to drive the light emitting element. The cell driver includes: a driving switch element serially connected with the light emitting element between a high voltage supply line and a low voltage supply line; a first switch element configured to, in response to a second scan signal, connect a data line with a first node to which a gate electrode of the driving switch element is connected; a second switch element configured to, in response to a first scan signal, apply a third scan signal to a second node to which a source electrode of the driving switch element is connected; and a third switch element configured to, in response to an emission signal, connect the high voltage supply line with a drain electrode of the driving switch element.

Abstract: A display panel includes a first plurality of pixels in first pixel rows corresponding to a first plurality of gate lines, a second plurality of pixels in second pixel rows corresponding to a second plurality of gate lines, and a gate driver coupled to the first plurality of gate lines and the second plurality of gate lines, the gate driver is configured to in a first display mode, turn on the first plurality of pixels and the second plurality of pixels, and in a second display mode, turn off the first plurality of pixels and turn on the second plurality of pixels. By turning off the pixels in the plurality of rows disposed in the dark areas, the number of the pixels to be driven can be reduced while obtaining a sufficient pixel compensation time, thereby driving the display panel at high speed.
