    Abstract: A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of data lines, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of light emission control lines, and a plurality of sub-pixels; a first driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of data lines; a second driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of scan lines; and a third driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of light emission control lines, in which the display panel includes an active area in which an image is displayed and a non-active area which is an edge area of the active area.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to ultrasonic sensors, ultrasonic sensing devices and display devices. The ultrasonic sensor includes an array of thin film transistors in which first electrodes are disposed, a piezoelectric material, and second electrodes. In order to generate ultrasonic waves and perform sensing, the second electrode is disposed in a patterned structure in which the second electrode is divided into multiple second electrodes, and a high voltage in the form of pulse is applied to the second electrode. Thus, in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a high voltage is not applied to the array of thin film transistors; therefore, it is possible to reduce or overcome degradation of circuit elements disposed in the array of thin film transistors. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the reliability and lifetime of the circuit elements disposed in the array of thin film transistors, while performing sensing.

    Abstract: The pixel circuit which controls the driving of the organic light emitting diode includes a driving TFT which supplies a driving current to the organic light emitting diode; a sampling TFT which samples a threshold voltage of the driving TFT; a first initializing TFT which supplies an initialization voltage to one electrode of the organic light emitting diode; and a storage capacitor which stores a voltage applied to the driving TFT, and at least one of the driving TFT, the sampling TFT, and the first initializing TFT includes a shielding electrode disposed between the substrate and the active layer. Therefore, even though the external light is irradiated onto a transparent substrate, a full white gray-level and a full black gray-level can be expressed so that the gray-level expressiveness may not be degraded.

    Abstract: A display panel and a display device. A driving voltage line disposed in an active area is disposed to overlap a reference voltage line. The aperture ratio of a display panel is improved, and the transparency of a transparent display device is improved. The width of the driving voltage line disposed in the display panel gradually decreases in a direction away from a driver circuit supplying a driving voltage. Differences in the variation of the driving voltage according to the areas of the display panel are reduced, thereby improving brightness uniformity of the display panel according to the areas of the display panel.
