    Abstract: A display device includes a light emitting diode LED element having a horizontal length in an X-axis direction and a vertical length in a Y-axis direction, a driving element connected to the LED element, and a reflective functional layer positioned to overlap an upper portion or a lower portion of the LED element, wherein the reflective functional layer includes a central area overlapping the LED element, an outer area including a graduation smaller than the horizontal length or the vertical length of the LED element, and a peripheral area between the central area and the outer area. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce a contact defect of the light emitting diode and the driving element by checking a position where the light emitting diode is attached on a substrate and a degree of misalignment.

    Abstract: A display device capable of actively controlling a viewing angle by an electrical signal, and a method for driving the same, are discussed. The display device in one embodiment includes a first substrate with a plurality of pixels, and a second substrate with convex lens, the second substrate facing the first substrate. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a main pixel and a viewing angle control pixel, and an image is displayed on both the main pixel and the viewing angle control pixel in a wide viewing angle mode. Further, an image is displayed on the main pixel, and a black is displayed on the viewing angle control pixel in a narrow viewing angle mode.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a pixel including sub pixels. The pixel includes a sub pixel area in which the sub pixels are disposed and a common area. The pixel includes a light emitting diode including an anode electrode and a cathode electrode, and the anode electrode is electrically connected to a first power line to which a high potential voltage is supplied. Each of the sub pixels includes a driving element in which a source is connected to a N1 node, a gate is connected to a N2 node, and a drain is connected to a N3 node, a capacitor connected to the N2 node and a N4 node; a N1 switching circuit connected to the N1 node; a N2 switching circuit connected to the N2 node; a N3 switching circuit connected to the N3 node; and a N4 switching circuit connected to the N4 node.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a display device including a plurality of unit pixels comprising a main pixel and a redundancy pixel which emit a same color; and a gate driver integrated in each of the plurality of unit pixels and comprising a plurality of stages, wherein each of the plurality of stages comprises a scan driving circuit for outputting a first scan signal and a second scan signal; and an emission driving circuit for outputting an emission control signal, wherein an output timing of the first scan signal supplied to the main pixel is the same as an output timing of the first scan signal supplied to the redundancy pixel, and wherein an output timing of the second scan signal supplied to the main pixel is different from an output timing of the second scan signal supplied to the redundancy pixel.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a display device including a display panel where a plurality of unit pixels are disposed, a gate driver disposed on an upper surface of the display panel and integrated in the plurality of unit pixels. Each of the plurality of unit pixels includes a main pixel and a redundancy pixel, and the gate driver supplies a gate voltage to the main pixel and the redundancy pixel. even if the main pixel becomes defective, the redundancy pixel can emit light instead of the main pixel, so that the reliability of the display device is improved.
