Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which transfers or receives data, including location information, in various ways, and a method of transferring or receiving data using the same. According to an embodiment, the mobile terminal includes a display; a communication unit; and a controller configured to receive together the message and a specific location information through the communication unit from a communication terminal, wherein the specific location information is location information excluding a current location of the communication terminal. The controller is further configured to display the message and the specific location information separately on the display such that the message and the specific location information can be identified separately from each other by a user of the mobile terminal.
