Abstract: A refrigerator includes: a cabinet; a door; an out plate that defines an outer appearance of the door and a plate opening; a door liner that defines a rear surface of the door and a liner opening; a transparent display assembly that is located between the door liner and the out plate and that allows the storage space to be seen therethrough and a screen to be outputted; a PCB provided on the inner side of the door and connected to the transparent display assembly; a display PCB provided at the cabinet and configured to control the transparent display assembly; a cable connecting the transparent display assembly and the PCB and having a flat shape that extends along a circumference of the transparent display assembly; and a connection cable connecting the PCB and the display PCB and having a wire shape that penetrates the door.

The transparent panel assembly includes a front panel defining an outer appearance of a front surface, a rear panel defining an outer appearance of a rear surface, a spacer made of a metal material and disposed between the front panel and the rear panel to define a periphery of the transparent panel assembly. A heater mounting part on which a heater is mounted is disposed on the spacer, and when the heater generates heat, one side of the front panel, which comes into contact with the spacer, is heated.

Abstract: A camera system is provided for an inside of a refrigerator. The camera system includes a camera module that includes an image sensor, a camera lens, electrical components configured to drive the image sensor, and a transparent window spaced a predetermined distance from the camera lens. The camera system also includes a camera housing configured to seat and fix the camera module at a predetermined position in the camera housing. The camera housing includes a fixing surface arranged to adjoin an upper wall of a storage compartment of a refrigerator; a front surface arranged to face an access opening of the storage compartment and side surfaces connecting the front surface to a rear surface of the camera housing; and a top surface provided with an opening allowing the transparent window of the camera module to be exposed therethrough.
