Abstract: A power converting apparatus includes: an inverter configured to convert input DC power into AC power by a switching operation; an output voltage detector configured to detect an output voltage of the inverter; and a controller configured to control the inverter. The controller is configured to perform proportional resonant control based on the output voltage, and output a switching control signal to the inverter based on the proportional resonant control. Accordingly, it is possible to remove harmonics generated due to connection of a nonlinear load.
