Abstract:
A method for controlling a rinsing cycle of a washing machine is provided. The method may include a primary rinsing by supplying water into the inner tub until a water level in the outer tub becomes a preset circulating water level, wherein some of the water is supplied through a drawer in the washing machine that holds fabric softener, and a remaining amount of water is supplied by spraying the water supplied from the external water source through the direct water nozzle via a direct water supply hose, a secondary rinsing by spraying water into the inner tub through the circulating nozzle, and a third rinsing by spraying the water into the inner tub through the direct water nozzle while draining the outer tub.
Abstract:
A washing machine is disclosed. The washing machine includes an outer tub that is configured to hold water. The washing machine further includes an inner tub that is located in the outer tub and that is configured to hold laundry and spin. The washing machine further includes a circulation flowpath that is configured to circulate water discharged from the outer tub. The washing machine further includes a first nozzle that is configured to jet water supplied from the circulation flowpath to the inner tub. The washing machine further includes an adjustable pump that is configured to pump water through the circulation flowpath to the first nozzle, the adjustable pump being configured to adjust flow of water to the first nozzle.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a washing machine includes the steps of: (a) processing the laundry by using the water supplied together with detergent; (b) draining the water used in the step (a), rotating the inner tub at a high speed, and operating the pump to drain the water discharged from the laundry; (c) rotating the inner tub at a first speed and supplying the water into the inner tub via the dispenser; (d) stopping the supply of water through the dispenser, rotating the inner tub at a second speed, and supplying the water into the inner tub through the spray nozzle; (e) stopping the supply of water through the spray nozzle and alternately rotating the pulsator at a third speed in both directions; (f) stopping rotation of the pulsator, rotating the inner tub at the second speed for a preset time, and supplying the water into the inner tub through the spray nozzle; (g) decelerating the inner tub from the second speed to a fourth speed, and operating the pump while the inner tub rotates at the fourth speed to drain the outer tub; and (h) accelerating and rotating the inner tub from the fourth speed to dewater the laundry.
Abstract:
A washing machine is provided. The washing machine may include a cabinet, an outer tub, an inner tub configured to receive laundry and provided in the outer tub so as to be rotatable about a substantially vertical axis, a circulation nozzle to spray water into the inner tub, a circulation hose to guide water from the outer tub to the circulation nozzle, and a pump including a pump motor having variable speeds and an impeller configured to move water from the circulation hose to the circulation nozzle as the impeller is rotated by the pump motor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus including a washing course for eliminating dirt or contaminants from laundry loaded in a drum, a washing-dehydrating course for eliminating water elements from the laundry having the washing course by accelerating the drum; and a rinsing course performed after the washing-dehydrating course, the rinsing course for eliminating detergent used in the washing course and remaining dirt or contaminants of the laundry by rotating the drum, wherein the drum is decelerated down to a rinsing RPM higher than 0 RPM together with finishing of the washing-dehydrating course and the rinsing course starts at the rinsing RPM.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a clothes treating apparatus, the clothes treating apparatus comprising: an outer tub for receiving washing water; an inner tub rotatably disposed in the outer tub and receiving laundry; and a motor for rotating the inner tub. The method for controlling a clothes treating apparatus comprises: a dry clothes amount detection step for detecting the amount of laundry loaded in an inner tub; a water supply step for supplying washing water to an outer tub; a wash step for washing and rinsing the laundry; a wet clothes amount detection step for detecting the moisture content of the laundry after the wash step; and a spin step for removing washing water included in the laundry, wherein, in the spin step, the ending time of the spin step is determined by determining the clothing material of the laundry.

Abstract:
A washing machine is provided. The washing machine may include a base; a cabinet supported by the base, an outer tub provided within the cabinet, an inner tub to receive laundry and that rotates about a vertical axis within the outer tub, a circulation nozzle provided at an upper portion of the outer tub and that discharges water into the inner tub, a pump provided below the outer tub and that pumps water from the outer tub, and a circulation hose that guides water ejected from the pump to the circulation nozzle.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus including a first course for rotating washing water and laundry which are loaded in a drum, in a state where a drainage pump is off and a first spinning course for eliminating water elements from the laundry loaded in the drum after the first course, accelerating the drum, wherein the first spinning course comprises a preparing course for rotating the drum, in a state where the drainage pump is off and a drainage course for draining the washing water inside the drum, in a state where the drainage pump is off.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a clothing treatment apparatus, and to a method for controlling a clothing treatment apparatus including an outer tub so as to accommodate laundry, and a motor for rotating the inner tub, the method comprising the steps of: rotating the inner tub by means of the motor; sensing the load torque of the motor during rotation of the inner tub; and selecting a laundry dispersing step according to the load torque of the motor, wherein, in the laundry dispersing step, constant-angle laundry dispersion for maintaining a constant rotational angle of the motor is performed when the load torque is no greater than a reference load torque, and angle-reducing laundry dispersion for reducing the rotational angle of the motor at a predetermined angle is performed when the load torque is at least the reference load torque.
