Abstract: An automatic detergent adding system and washing machine. The automatic detergent adding system comprises a detergent container containing detergent, and an automatic detergent feeding device connected with the detergent container, and also comprises a pipe joint separately communicating with the automatic detergent feeding device and a water inlet pipeline, a water conduit communicating with an outer drum, and the pipe joint is connected with the water conduit. The detergent and tap water in the water inlet pipeline are converged in the pipe joint and the water conduit and flow to the outer drum, so that a water injection slot component in an original washing machine is omitted, the structure is simple, a series of problems caused by existence of the water injection slot component are avoided. The water and the detergent are mixed before washing, and thus washing efficiency is improved.

The washing machine includes an outer tub to contain wash water, an inner tub rotatably disposed in the outer tub, a hanger unit, which is disposed over the inner tub and on which laundry is hung, a steam generator disposed at the outer tub to heat the wash water so as to generate steam, and a drive unit rotating the inner tub to rotate the hanger unit and introduces the steam generated from the steam generator into the inner tub.

Abstract: A detergent dosing controller that is convenient to use and has better effect is disclosed herein. The method includes providing the wash chamber with an oxygen bleach wash additive and, optionally, with a detergent wash additive, determining a water fill volume target, and adding a first wash volume of water to the wash chamber. The first wash volume is determined based on a fixed percentage of the water fill volume target in is less than the water fill volume target such that the oxygen bleach wash additive is present in a relatively concentrated amount.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of washing dairy towels includes a horizontally-support drum, a side door on the drum facilitating top-down loading of towels, an outer enclosure for containing liquid, a drain below the bearings for setting a height of water in the outer enclosure, and fluid and electrical controls above a height of the drum for operation in a non-moist area. The washer can be placed in a dairy building and used to clean towels used to wipe and sanitize teats of milking cows. In one form, exhaust air from a vacuum air compressor of a milker is fed into the enclosure to dry the towels after washing them, thus providing efficient operation and a great energy savings. In another version, a drum access door pivots outwardly on a washing apparatus, and is held closed during drum rotation by sliding bearings on the enclosure.

A calibration mode is provided that is performed separately from a washing mode such that a detection error of the weight of laundry, which occurs due to external environment factors, is calibrated when the weight of laundry is detected using a motor.
