Abstract: A laundry treatment apparatus equipped with a thermoelectric module includes a thermoelectric element configured to emit heat from a first surface and to absorb heat through a second surface, a first heat exchange unit configured to contact the first surface of the thermoelectric element to undergo heat exchange with air upon receiving heat from the first surface, a heat transfer member having an interconnecting surface that is configured to contact the second surface of the thermoelectric element to be in a heat conducting relationship with the second surface, and a second heat exchange unit configured to contact the interconnecting surface of the heat transfer member, and that is configured to undergo heat exchange with air to enable heat to be absorbed by the second surface of the thermoelectric element through the heat transfer member.

Abstract: A clothes treatment apparatus includes a cooling water pipe that is placed within a condensing duct to condense humidity contained in a circulating air current. The latent heat generated from the condensation of humidity causes the temperature of the cooling water in the cooling water pipe to rise. A thermoelectric pump mechanism collects heat from the higher-temperature cooling water and uses it in heating the circulating air.

Abstract: A dishwasher includes a tub, a door, and a drying device disposed outside the tub. The drying device includes a condensing duct that faces an outer surface of the tub, that is in fluid communication with an inlet port defined at the tub, and that extends in a vertical direction and a first direction intersecting the vertical direction, and a fan configured to cause a flow of air in the condensing duct. The condensing duct includes an upstream portion in fluid communication with the inlet port, a downstream portion that is in fluid communication with the upstream portion and includes a bent portion disposed below the upstream portion, and a rib that is disposed inside the bent portion and extends across the bent portion, where the rib protrudes in a second direction that intersects the vertical direction and the first direction.
