    Abstract: There is disclosed a controlling method for a refrigerator comprising: a first defrosting step of performing defrosting for an evaporator, the first defrosting step which ends when the temperature of the evaporator reaches a first temperature; a pressure difference sensing step of measuring a difference between the pressure in a first through-hole arranged between an inlet hole for drawing air from a storage compartment and the evaporator and the pressure in a second through-hole arranged between an outlet hole for discharging air towards the storage compartment and the evaporator by using one differential pressure sensor; and a second defrosting step of performing additional defrosting for the evaporator when the measured pressure difference is a preset pressure or more.

This specification provides a refrigerator with a vegetable storage container, which includes a vegetable box having a front part and a main body both forming an accommodation space therein as a storage space for vegetables, the vegetable box being installed to be drawn out of the refrigerator, a vegetable box cover horizontally installed on the accommodation space to selectively cover an upper opening of the vegetable box, and a pressing unit to seal the accommodation space after the accommodation space of the vegetable box is closed by the vegetable box cover.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a refrigerator. The refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: an evaporator; a defrost heater; a temperature sensor to sense ambient temperature around the evaporator; and a controller to control the defrost heater, wherein the controller is configured to: perform a defrost operation mode in a case of reaching a defrosting operation start time point; perform, based on the defrost operation mode, a continuous operation mode in which the defrost heater is continuously turned on, and a pulse operation mode in which the defrost heater is repeatedly turned on and off; and perform the continuous operation mode again after performing the pulse operation mode.     Abstract: A control method of a refrigerator includes the steps in which: a heating element of a sensor which is responsive to a change in the flow rate of air is turned off after being turned on for a predetermined period of time; a first sensing temperature (Ht1) of the heating element is sensed in a state in which the heating element is on, and a second sensing temperature (Ht2) of the heating element is sensed in a state in which the heating element is off; and a defrosting operation of removing frost on an evaporator is determined on the basis of the temperature difference value between the first sensing temperature (Ht1) and the second sensing detection temperature (Ht2).
