    Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes: a display unit configured to display an image; and a controller configured to display a planar image of an omnidirectionally captured image or a thumbnail image of a partial region of the omnidirectionally captured image, with a first point of the omnidirectionally captured image as a center, wherein a center of the planar image or a center of the thumbnail image is variable.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a head mounted display (HMD), and a method for controlling the same. The HMD includes: a body having a display unit; a lens driving unit provided at the body, and configured to move a lens unit spaced apart from the display unit, wherein the lens driving unit includes: a lens frame having a first tube portion protruded in a first direction, and coupled to the body; a lens housing having a second tube portion protruded in the first direction and having the lens unit, the second tube portion relatively moved on the first tube portion; a link unit coupled to the lens frame and the lens housing, and configured to move the lens housing; and a driving unit provided at one side of the first tube portion, and configured to operate the link unit.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the mobile terminal are disclosed. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, together with an external device separated therefrom, may measure body composition by using human body medium communication. The mobile terminal and the external device have two electrodes that contact areas of a user's body. The mobile terminal outputs a test signal through a first body area contacting a first electrode, and transmits the test signal to the external device through the user's body. The external device generates a feedback signal corresponding to the test signal. The mobile terminal detects a second signal which is the feedback signal that passes through the body and is transmitted through a second electrode. The mobile terminal uses the difference between a reference signal corresponding to the test signal and the second signal to calculate the body composition of the user.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal including a display; a touch sensor overlapped with the display and configured to detect a touch input; and a controller configured to detect a first tap input applied on the touch sensor in state of a deactivated display and the touch sensor being periodically driven with a second period; determine a region of the display that corresponds to the first tap input; detect a second tap input applied on the touch sensor in state of the deactivated display within a predefined time period from the first tap input; determine if the second tap input is applied within the region; if the second tap input is applied within the region and within the predefined time period from the first tap input, activate the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with a first period shorter than the second period; and if the second tap input is applied to a spot outside the region, maintain the deactivation of the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with the second period.
