Abstract: An indicator for deciding a grinding amount of a liquid crystal display panel and a method for detecting grinding failure using the same are disclosed in the present invention. The indicator includes at least one alignment mark formed at a gate pad unit and a data pad unit of a liquid crystal display panel, and at least one pattern for detecting a grinding amount between a first end portion of the gate pad unit and the alignment mark, and a second end portion of the data pad unit and the alignment mark.
