Abstract:
A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display panel includes forming a UV sealant on either one of first and second substrates, forming a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, attaching the first and second substrates, irradiating a UV ray on the attached substrates with masking regions where the UV sealant and at least one scribing line are crossed, and cutting the bonded substrates into a plurality of unit cells.
Abstract:
An apparatus for hardening a sealant on a substrate is disclosed in the present invention. The apparatus includes a chamber receiving at least a pair of bonded substrates, and at least one supporting unit supporting the bonded substrates, attached to inner side surfaces of the chamber, and having a substantially flat contact surface contacting the bonded substrates.
Abstract:
A cassette for releasing substrates is disclosed in the present invention. The cassette includes a frame, and a plurality of support plates protruding from both lateral sides of the frame whereon the support plates have a width and length large enough to support the substrates without a bending and to provide a releasing space for a robot arm from the cassette after the robot arm transports the substrate on the support plates.
Abstract:
An apparatus for removing bubbles from a sealant for fabricating a liquid crystal display device is disclosed in the present invention. The apparatus includes a drum, a rotating shaft in the drum, a first gear at an upper portion of the rotating shaft, a second gear matching the first gear, and a container at a lower portion of the second gear including an interior container accommodating a sealant, an exterior container surrounding the interior container, a space receiving cooling water between the interior container and the exterior container, a sealant discharge port formed at a lower portion of the interior container, and a water introducing port formed at the exterior container.
