摘要: Disclosed herein is a touch display device including a panel driver configured to drive gate lines and data lines of a panel and drive and sense touch electrodes, and a timing controller configured to control a drive timing and an output of the panel driver, wherein the timing controller time-divisionally drives each frame period into a plurality of display operation periods and a plurality of touch operation periods such that each display operation period and each touch operation period alternate and, during at least one compensation period of a first compensation period adjacent to an immediately preceding touch operation period and a second compensation period adjacent to an immediately following touch operation period in each display operation period, compensates at least one of a data signal and a gate signal, which is to be supplied to a compensation area, according to a variation in state of a panel.

摘要: A timing controller according to one aspect of the present disclosure that is capable of operating in a low-power mode for a touch sensor driving period includes a receiver which receives a timing synchronization signal and video image data from an external source, a data processor which generates a gate control signal and a data control signal on the basis of the timing synchronization signal and arranges the video image data as pixel data for a display panel, and a transmitter which operates in a normal mode to output the pixel data, the gate control signal, and the data control signal for a display driving period and operates in a low-power mode for at least some time of a touch sensor driving period.

摘要: Provided is a driving apparatus for the touch display device including: a signal generation circuit that generates a second image signal using an input first image signal and outputs the second image signal in a display period, and generates a common voltage signal and outputs the common voltage signal in a touch sensing period; and a dummy signal output determination circuit that determines whether to output a dummy signal using the second image signal, wherein when it is determined to output the dummy signal by the dummy signal output determination circuit, the signal generation circuit generates at least one dummy signal using the second image signal and the common voltage signal and outputs the at least one dummy signal in the display period.
