    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a data driver and a control method thereof, wherein a position of pixels to which pixel data is written and the amount of change in grayscale of the pixel data are judged, and a bias current to an output buffer from which a data voltage corresponding to the pixel data is output is varied according to the position of pixels and the amount of change in grayscale of the pixel data.

    Abstract: A display driving device includes a main communication circuit configured to receive image data and first control data in an active period through a main communication line and to receive second control data in a blank period; and a driving circuit configured to drive pixels of a display panel according to the image data and to determine a power saving operation of an output circuit for driving the pixels according to a power saving control value included in the second control data, thereby reducing the amount of power consumption in data communication and minimizing the possibility of a malfunction of erroneously entering a power saving mode due to a communication error.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a source driver and a method of detecting crack of a display panel. A source driver may comprise a first circuit configured to apply first data to data lines connected to sub-pixels of a display panel to charge a first driving voltage; and a second circuit formed on the display panel that applies the first driving voltage to a detection line formed on the display panel to detect the presence of cracks in the display panel based on the illumination status of the sub-pixels, wherein the detection line includes a first detection node and a second detection node formed on one side of the display panel along its extension direction, wherein the first detection node is connected to data lines of the first and third sub-pixels, and wherein the second detection node is connected to data line of the second sub-pixel.
