The measuring container is formed with a volumetric capacity such as a fraction of a cup, a teaspoon, or a tablespoon. The handle of a first measuring container includes a feature that interacts with a complementary feature on the handle of a second measuring cup to secure the first and second cups together. In one version, a downwardly extending rib on the handle of a first measuring container is received within a channel formed on the handle of a second measuring container. A set of containers is formed in which each of the containers has an attachment feature allowing the set to be attached together.

摘要： A mandolin slicer having a slicing plate which is selectively adjustable in height on a main body to allow adjustment of the thickness of slices by a supporting platform which swings on pairs of rods to raise or lower the slicing plate and may be locked in any position. Retractable leg and foot supports are mounted to the main body to allow compact stowing of the supports when not in use. Chipper and julienne upright blade sets can be pivoted up on holder frames by movement of a selector slide so as to protrude through slot sets in the slicer plate to be positioned for chipping or julienne slicing. A reversible blade mount holds a V blade or V waffle blade in alternate positions.

摘要： A slicing and dicing device which includes a pivoted lever which when stroked slides a pusher assembly partway along on a main body towards a cutter piece to slice an interposed item. Gearing operated by the lever disengages after each stroke to allow another stroke, reducing the peak effect required by limiting the range of motion to a range where good leverage is obtained. A dicing assembly is mounted forward of the cutter piece for vertical sliding motion to allow cross cutting of strips sliced out of the item by the cutter piece.

摘要： A salad spinner has a housing with a lid, a rotatable basket, and a drive mechanism in the lid for rotating the basket to spin water off salad in the basket. The drive mechanism has a manual actuator and a gear train for transmitting drive from the actuator to rotate the basket. The actuator lies on an outer surface of the lid and is movable along the outer surface in opposite directions between first and second positions to rotate the basket in a single direction. A ratchet assembly in driving engagement with the gear train enables transmission of rotational drive only in the single direction. A braking mechanism is included for braking spinning of the basket, and has a manual operator and two braking shoes for movement by the operator to brake spinning of the basket by friction.
