摘要： An insulation stripping apparatus is disclosed including a tool housing (1) containing a slitting channel (6) for laterally receiving an insulated conductor (7). A clamping or support body (10) connected with the tool housing carries at least one knife cassette (33) that is laterally adjustable longitudinally of the slitting channel in a corresponding cassette-receiving opening (26) contained in the clamping body between different cutting positions relative to the conductor. The thickness of the knife cassette is appreciably less than the length of the groove, whereby a plurality of knife cassettes may be mounted for simultaneous cutting of the insulation at desired cutting depths and at a plurality of longitudinally displaced positions, respectively.

摘要： A locking device serves to lock an electronic module to a bank of terminal blocks, characterized by a body member having at least one pair of integral parallel spaced legs that extend downwardly within a corresponding T-shaped vertical groove contained in one end of a first one of the terminal blocks. The legs are resiliently biased apart and are provided at their free ends with hook or catch portions that extend laterally outwardly from opposite sides of the legs into corresponding locking recesses contained in opposite side walls of the groove, respectively, thereby to lock the body member with the bank of terminal blocks. The adjacent end of the body member contains a longitudinal chamber that slidably receives a locking member that is displaceable between retracted unlocked and extended locking positions relative to the body member. Accordingly, when the locking member is in the retracted position and a vertical locking tongue of T-shaped cross-sectional configuration integral with a side wall of the housing of the electronic module is inserted within the T-shaped groove of a second terminal block of the bank, the locking member may be displaced to its extended position above the locking tongue, thereby to fasten the module with the terminal block bank.

摘要： An earthing terminal for mounting on a support rail having a channel section with outwardly turned flanges comprises a yoke of bent sheet metal with a pair of hooks to fit under the flanges, and a metal clamping member with terminals, disposed between respective side parts of the yoke. The yoke has on each side part a lug, the ends of which are bent over to form flanges in which is threaded a clamping screw which contacts the metal member. By means of the clamping screw, the flanges of the support rail can be clamped between the hooks of the yoke, and adjacent parts of the metal member.

摘要： A terminal block assembly includes a plurality of terminal blocks at least one of which contains plurality of interconnected distributor bars having at least a pair of terminal assemblies electrically connected by a bridge member. Each terminal assembly includes a terminal having a resilient contact portion and a stationary base portion, and further includes a bus bar containing a plug-receiving gap. The bus bar is provided with a plug-in link projection adapted for insertion within the plug-receiving gap of a terminal contained in the next adjacent terminal block. In this manner, a pair of terminals contained within the same terminal block are electrically connected via the bridge members, and terminals contained in adjacent terminal blocks are electrically connected via the plug-in link projections.

摘要： A conductor connection assembly includes a U-shaped receptacle into which one can insert from above a screw-clamping assembly comprising a screw, a nut threadably connected with the screw, and a wire protection part in the form of a barrel spring or collar connected with the screw. On the nut, there are provided lateral protrusions adapted to fit within corresponding recesses provided in the side walls of the U-shaped receptacle. The screw clamping mechanism and the U-shaped receptacle are locked into position since the collar includes in the upper area thereof lateral shoulder projections which abut against the side edges of the side walls of the U-shaped receptacle upon activation of the screw to displace the clamping mechanism downwardly into the receptacle.

摘要： The stripping device comprises a pair of jaws of which each is provided with a cutting knife. For secure positioning of an inserted conductor, and in order to strip off a severed portion of its insulation layer, a resilient positioning element with a tapering recess is provided adjacent one cutting knife. The positioning element grasps and guides the conductor already when the cutting edge of the cutting knife begins to penetrate into the insulation layer, and yields thereupon resiliently without releasing the conductor. Said cutting edge is preferably provided with a semicircular recess which may be produced by a plurality of blanks fixed in a sloping position being worked by a metal removing tool having at the periphery the profile shape of said recess.

摘要： A connector for clamping one or more electrical conductors has a shackle which cooperates with a screw serving to urge one end portion of a rail toward a bottom wall of the shackle. The bottom wall has a central portion flanked by two convergent lateral portions which guide one or more conductors against the internal surface of the central portion when the screw causes the end portion of the rail to approach the bottom wall. The underside of the end portion of the rail has a centrally located platform whose underside urges the conductor or conductors against the central portion of the bottom wall and which is assisted by two ridges disposed between pairs of recesses in the end portion of the rail. The lateral portions of the bottom wall have notches which receive portions of the platform, and the recesses receive portions of the corresponding lateral wall portions. The undersides of the ridges can constitute concave surfaces to further enhance the gathering, centering and clamping effect of the end portion of the rail when the screw is rotated in a direction to advance the end portion toward the inner side of the bottom wall.
