For example, a wireless communication device may be configured to identify a link block event including a blocking of an mmWave wireless communication link between an mmWave wireless communication station (STA) of the wireless communication device and an other wireless communication device. For example, the wireless communication device may be configured to, based on the link block event, communicate with the other wireless communication device over a sub-10 GHz wireless communication link between a sub-10 GHz STA of the wireless communication device and the other wireless communication device.

摘要: For example, an apparatus may be configured to cause an Access Point (AP) to transmit a frame over a wireless communication channel, the frame including a field according to a first Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) version decodable by a wireless communication (STA) of a first STA type, the field configured to indicate to the STA of the first STA type that the wireless communication channel is to be reserved for a reserved duration; and to communicate a low-overhead PPDU with a STA of a second STA type over the wireless communication channel during a Synchronized Transmit Opportunity (S-TxOP), wherein the S-TxOP is within the reserved duration, wherein the low-overhead PPDU is configured according to a second PPDU version decodable by the STA of the second STA type, the low overhead PPDU including a low-overhead preamble excluding one or more preamble fields of the first PPDU version.

摘要: An access point (AP) may be configured by processing circuitry to operate as a coordinator AP for performing BSS channel level coordination. The coordinator AP is configured to assign non-overlapping channels to one or more coordinated APs of overlapping BSSs to schedule time-sensitive traffic to help ensure bounded latency, jitter and reliability per BSS. In some embodiments, the AP may be configured for performing transmission level coordination and may initiate a coordinated transmission opportunity (TXOP) for resource assignment to control contention access among managed BSSs. To perform the BSS channel level coordination, the coordinator AP is configured to encode a multi-AP trigger frame (M-TF) to initiate the coordinated TXOP. The M-TF may be encoded to include a time-sensitive operation IE indicating how each STA is to access the channel within the coordinated TXOP.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to wireless time sensitive networking. A device may identify, using an 802.3 protocol stack, an 802.3 frame received from a second device using a wired Ethernet connection, and extract, using the 802.3 protocol stack, a redundancy tag from the 802.3 frame, the redundancy tag including a sequence number. The device may generate, using an 802.11 protocol stack, an 802.11 frame with a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) field, the SNAP field including an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and the sequence number, the OUT including an indication of an Ethertype protocol. The device may send the 802.11 frame using a wireless connection.

摘要: To communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within synchronized transmission opportunities (S-TXOPs), an access point station (AP) performs an initial management frame exchange with the STAs. During the initial management frame exchange, one or more sets of semi-static allocation parameters are signalling to the STAs. Each set of semi-static allocation parameters is associated with an allocation index (IDx). The AP may communicate data with the STAs during S-TXOPs that follow the initial management frame exchange. Each of the S-TXOPs may include an S-TXOP trigger. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include one of the allocation indices to indicate a known allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when a set of the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are to be used. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include full allocation information to indicate a new allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are not used.

A device may perform a first backoff countdown on a first link associated with a first station device (STA) of the device, wherein the device is a multi-link device (MLD). The device may detect a second backoff countdown associated with a second STA of the MLD after the first backoff countdown reaches zero. The device may determine to hold the first backoff countdown at zero based on the value of the second backoff countdown. The device may transmit in synchronization on the first link and on the second link from the first STA and the second STA respectively based on holding the first backoff countdown at zero.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP) configured for extremely high throughput (EHT) operation may be configured to operate as a triggering AP for a trigger-based (TB) peer-to-peer (P2P) communication between a triggered direct (TD) station (STA) and a TD peer STA. The AP may encode a Direct Link Announcement (DiL-A) frame to schedule the TD STA for a direct link transmission to the TD peer STA. The DiL-A frame may be encoded to include a Duration/ID field. The AP may set the Duration/ID field of the DiL-A frame to a remaining duration of a transmission opportunity (TXOP) when the TD peer STA is an EHT STA that supports TB P2P operation (e.g., to allow the TD peer STA to ignore the NAV set by the DiL-A frame). The AP may set the Duration/ID field of the DiL-A frame to a response time for the TD STA to respond to the DiL-A frame when the TD Peer STA is a legacy STA (e.g., to allow the TD peer STA to set its NAV based on the response time).

The device may identify a first control frame received from an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) on the second channel. The device may cause to send a second control frame to the AP MLD on the second channel. The device may configure back to a single N×N TX/RX radio to receive a data frame.
