Abstract: An attestation framework to support attestation and anomaly detection in an electric grid. The attestation framework provides systems and methods that use distributed ledger technology (DLT) and implement DLT-based methods for verifying device and data trustworthiness on the electric grid. The framework attests to system changes and anomaly detection to flag specific events such as natural and cyber-induced grid events categorization, electrical faults in meters and relays and cyber events, e.g., based on statistical and baseline threshold values. The attestation framework can support the detection of system changes by itself, and in combination with an anomaly detection framework, has a lower system resource requirement and is more likely to catch system changes. An anomaly detection module can trigger attestation checks and uses the DLT for device and configuration verification purposes. The attestation framework can be deployed at substations or other environments, such as DERs or a microgrid.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method computer-readable storage medium performed by an electronic device. The method includes: obtaining a latency variation distribution characteristic of a service data packet, the latency variation distribution characteristic being configured for indicating a transmission latency range of the service data packet; detecting a network transmission characteristic between an application server (AS) and a core network gateway; adjusting the latency variation distribution characteristic of the service data packet based on the network transmission characteristic, to obtain an adjusted latency variation distribution characteristic; and transmitting the adjusted latency variation distribution characteristic to a core network element, so that the core network element controls data transmission based on the adjusted latency variation distribution characteristic.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards a transport protocol for latency sensitive applications. The disclosed transport protocol is “semi-reliable” in that it allows for specification of an importance of data being transmitted, thereby allowing important data to be sent reliably, while other data can be dropped if necessary, e.g., under bad network conditions. A deadline can be specified for such other data, and if the other data cannot be sent prior to the deadline, it can be dropped. Furthermore, the disclosed transport protocol can allow for early discovery of network jitter. A client device can send regular acknowledgments which identify most recently received data packets as well as a number of “heartbeat transmissions” received at the client device. A server device can use the acknowledgments to discover and respond to jitter.

Abstract: A controlling network element includes a processor and a memory. The memory is configured to store a computer program. The processor is configured to invoke and execute the computer program stored in the memory to cause the controlling network element to perform: transmitting first information to an executing network element, the first information including a measurement policy; where the measurement policy includes at least one of: a first measurement parameter, a selecting condition for a terminal device, a measurement behavior, or a reporting way; the first measurement parameter includes at least one of: a delay, a rate, a bandwidth, a packet loss rate, a jitter rate, or a disorder rate.

Abstract: An information processing device includes a reception I/F unit, a reception-time-point measuring unit, and an event-detection-time-point estimation unit. The event-detection-time-point estimation unit estimates an event detection time point, which is a time point at which an event corresponding to latest detection data is detected, from a minimum system delay time, a minimum-system-delay jitter, and a time period from detection of the event corresponding to a target data to detection of the event corresponding to latest detection data. The minimum-system-delay jitter is the difference between a minimum-reception-time expected reception time point and the reception time point of the target detection data. The minimum-reception-time expected reception time point is calculated to be a time point at which the target data is received before the latest detection data. The target detection data is one piece of detection data, out of the multiple pieces of detection data, sent with a minimum system delay time.
