摘要： An improved ratcheting pipe wrench which includes a first toothed jaw formed on a first member and a second toothed jaw rotatably carried by a second member provided with an elongated handle portion. The first member has a shank portion which is slidably receivable in a guide way formed in the second member. The guide way is configured to provide clearance to the shank portion of the first member so as to permit both longitudinal and pivotal, or up and down rocking movement of the first member relative to the second member. With this construction the jaws of the wrench can readily be separated to accommodate a pipe, nut or bar (work piece) of various sizes. Further, with work piece in position between the toothed jaws, pressure exerted on the handle portion of the second member will tend to increasingly tighten the jaws about the work piece to provide a positive gripping action. Conversely, release of pressure on the handle portion will cause the jaws to loosen so that the wrench can readily be ratcheted to a new gripping position.

摘要： An internal pipe wrench adapted to engage the inner walls of a pipe for applying torque thereto. The wrench comprises a rotatable mandrel which is generally triangular in cross-section and three cooperating gripping jaws movable into gripping engagement with the pipe upon rotation of the mandrel. The gripping jaws are retained in operable proximity with the mandrel by means of a yieldably resilient rubber or plastic material and are uniformly configured so that upon rotation of the mandrel in either direction, the leading edge of the gripping jaws will move into positive gripping engagement with the inner walls of the pipe.

摘要： A power driving waste line clean out tool which includes an elongated flexible coil spring formed from an elongated spring wire that is helically wound about a flexible water conduit. The water conduit provides water under relatively high pressure to a uniquely designed water jet clean out head assembly that is affixed to the end of the coil spring and is adapted to effectively break up and remove blockages formed in the sewer line being cleaned. A portion of the flexible coil spring is housed within a drum having a conoidal wall through which the coil spring is provided with a feed mechanism and is fed and retracted actually of itself as the drum is rotated. The water jet head assembly of the tool includes a spray head which can be securely connected to the coil spring, a cutter head assembly which can be removably interconnected with the spray head and a connector means of unique design for interconnecting the water conduit of the coil spring assembly with the plurality of water jets provided in the spray head and extending angularly outwardly relative to longitudinal axis of the waste line. Also provided proximate the outboard end of the coil spring assembly is a small video camera which is interconnected with a monitor carried by the frame of the device. Power, ground and fiber optic signal transmitting conduits for operating the video camera are carried within the flexible water conduit so that the blockage and the interior of the waste line can be clearly viewed by the operator.

摘要： An improved plumbers' tool of the type employing a helically wound coiled spring which is controllably inserted into waste lines to remove blockages. In operating the tool of the invention, a storage drum from which the clean-out spring is payed out is rotated, usually by a small electric motor, and the spring is clamped in a chucking mechanism so as to rotate with the housing. The improvement of the present tool resides in the provision of a unique actuating mechanism which provides a substantial mechanical advantage that enables the operator, using only one hand to grip a forwardly positioned stationary handle with the fingers and move a pivotally movable, rearwardly positioned handle with the heel of the hand to cause the chucking mechanism to positively engage the coiled spring in a manner to prevent slippage even under severe torque loading conditions.

摘要： A power driving waste line clean out tool which includes an elongated flexible coil spring formed from an elongated spring wire that is helically wound about a flexible water conduit.
